Black-robed scoundrels strike again, upholding Demand Letter #3.

"U.S. judge backs ATF multiple rifle sales reporting." She's a Dubya appointee. More "compassionate conservatism," no doubt. The Gunwalker Plot is still succeeding in small ways, despite having its cover blown.

The Law does not make an allowance for MDFs on long guns, NOR does it grant the DOJ the power, even under "promulgation of rules" language to make up a rule from thin air, which only applies to 4 states out of 50.

This shit has to stop!

Cocked, Locked and ready to rock!
HammerHead out!!!

Any questions still left about why we have to hold our noses and vote for whoever the GOP serves up?

This ruling is unconscionable in light of F&F. But, it is fitting in contemporary America. The Bible tells us that there will be a great delusion in the end times. Unfortunately, it did not go on to say it would start in America, where up is down, right is wrong, black is white, immorality is moral and filth is good. I hope the gun rights people appeal this ruling. I'm no lawyer, but because ATF made the #3rd letter only applicable to four states; that in and of itself should have made the ruling null and void. Law and regulations in this country has to be equally applied. One size fits all. The lawyers for the gun rights groups need to argue this point. This would deprive the ATF of their basic argument (guns going to Mexico) if the regulation is equally applied to Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, the Dakotas etc. We need to get rid of this corrupt organization as it is beyond repair. No amount of oversight or house cleaning can fix something so terminally ill.

The wife had Fox News on at 12:30 here in Texas, I was on phone but I think I heard that a guy named Cunningham resigned as atf boss of Az today. May be the age of my hearing and the Arc Light moments out on the trails in Laos.

...Since you had seemed to miss this part;

"She's a Dubya appointee. More "compassionate conservatism," no doubt."

Holding your nose and sticking your finger in shit still gives you a stinky finger, reguardless of whether you can smell the stench or not.

I suggest voting with courage in your convictions. If you cannot even do that, how do you expect to have the courage to live those convictions when it comes time to choose to hold your nose and get aboard the cattle car, or saying enough to TPTB.

This is a metaphor from a story, but one that fits this "choice" argument like a glove.

Frodo: I wish the ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

Gandalf: So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world Frodo, besides the will of evil.

Moral of the story; Don't hold your nose and serve evil.

The Supreme Court stopped the 2000 recount in Florida on just such grounds. Gore's campaign wanted recounts in those counties he thought he could win. The Supreme's said if you recount one county you have to recount them all or it violates the equal protection clause.

The thing that chaps me is that all of these clowns took an oath to protect the Constitution of the United States. Since when does that mean trying every trick in the book and seeing which ones get overturned by SCOTUS?

Are we really supposed to accept that Obama and Holder don't know what is or is not constitutional until SCOTUS rules on an issue?

I smelled the leftist LSM stink in that faux news writeup.
And good for the Douglas AZ gun dealer who is just saying no to gun sales (without the "aid" of ATF or NICS?).
There are ways around Demand Letter #3 that would still allow a gun buyer to purchase multiple longarms within the restricted time period. Some legal, some barely (or not).
The more the Gubbment (BATFEces) tries to squeeze, the more the citizen (not serf) will slip through the Big Power's grasp.
And good for the citizen for it.

I am once again posting a comment here, as I consider myself a 3per and have been so for a long time. I am the owner of Foothills Firearms and am one of the two AZ gun shops who was suing the ATF with help from the NRA. I read the transcripts from the court case and was convinced because of the judges comments to the gov't counsel that this was going to be a slam dunk. She tore them up in court and even went so far as to link they're demand letter 3 to F&F and trying to pass rules without legal grounds just because they could! I can't believe that after reading her comments and opinion on the decision that it was even the same person.
I am so dismayed about this I can't begin to tell you. I feel as though every Constitution loving American just got a kick to the balls. And the ATF will just continue to trample our rights with impunity. I talked to R. Gardiner today (our NRA counsel) and they will be filing an appeal on Monday in the DC Court of Appeals but frankly as long as the Gov't is being tried by a Gov't judge in a Gov't court what hope do we have?
I am sick of waiting for a charismatic leader to get us all together to march on DC. Maybe I should just organize it myself. But this country is so apathetic would anyone join me? Doubt it.
Sorry to be so negative, just bummed out and tired.

I wonder every day what the tipping point will be - when the "black flag is hoisted and we begin slitting throats".

All we have to do is decide how far is too far?

I was already "too far" in 1934.
