What passes for "cutting edge" cartoonery in the Age of Bush/Obama.

Meet Ted Rall

Now meet the cartoons of the very much-praised (in certain circles) Ted Rall. Ted recently has a mis-step in his career. He got laid off, thus proving it is an ill wind indeed that blows no one any good. Now, if Ted would only catch Mata Mexicano and die drowning in his own juices . . .

Sadly, that would be expecting too much justice in one week.

Why am I angry at this left-wing pustule? Try to look at these cartoons below from the perspective of a father of a current-serving military man, i.e., me.

Enjoy:

"Profile of a suicide bomber" fills in its' own blanks:

(White) Male.

(Patriot)

(not a self-obsessed atheist)

(ASVAB screens out idiots who can't learn. Lack of education can be rapidly fixed, unlike stupid)

UCMJ limits protest, but there is plenty of thought going on.

There is "poverty" in the ranks, but it's only a lack of money allocated by Congress for pay. Don't get married and don't have kids under E-5/O-3.

Life after death? The cartoonist is reaching...

Kids might be immature when they sign up, they sure aren't by the time they go into combat. Lots are filtered out and sent home, while the best go on.

If this cartoon is sarcasm for a sophisticated audience who will "get it" that this is a parody of media representation of GI's, okay. If it is published in a general-interest wide-circulation daily without an explanation, it's outrageous.

Cheers.

Yet, will he laugh or smile so broadly, as when our paths cross?

He needs "reconstructive" face surgery.

Gee, the guys that I personally know are sharp as tacks, polite, not overtly political, have high-paying technical jobs state-side, and do what they do out of a sense of duty to complete a job, (not worship a president.)

That cartoon isn't funny at all. I think I'll improve it later today.

pdxr13: Nope ... Ted Rall is serious here.

The real joke is that when it comes time to try to force his beliefs on all of us at gun point, he is going to try to not fight there as well.

Guys like Rall turn 3pers into 4pers. He's good for recruiting.

Professor Exception
As a rule, college professors are libtard statists. I am an exception to that rule.

You know Mike, I was going to say that the immature rantings of some unemployed, idiotic, moonbat don't really bother me. But those comics were really damned offensive. To steal a quote from somebody sharper than me, I wouldn't piss on this clown if he caught on fire. There is probably a really long list of people in this world who have earned a good a$$-kicking but I truly believe this guy has made the first page. God bless and protect your boy Mike, and all the others like him.

Arrogant Bastard he is....thanks for posting his photograph...It is good to remeber who the enemy is...

I'm glad to hear that Ted has become unemployed.
His cartoons post 9-11 were just awful. And his Pat Tilman tribute was even worse.
His hatred for those who protect him has never made any sense to me. Maybe it's just jealousy. Who knows.

I hope he gets his Balls bitten off by a rabid Wolverine.

We should treat the 1st. ammendment the same as the second. Before someone is allowed
to speak or print in public they should undergo a background check
and get a license. This man? is an insult to mankind and without the protection of better men than he is he would not last very long in this world. HE is the idiot

The only way I WOULDN'T piss on him is if he was on fire.

Ted Rall's always been pond scum. The things he wrote about Pat Tillman and Ronald Reagan made my fingers twitch.

There are humorists that can be funny, even political, without pissing me off. Ted ain't one of them.

Keep it up Klan members, you're just as bad as the Muslims who threatened cartoonists. A screenshot of this entry deserves to be memorialized on another blog, as revealing of your true attitudes and motives. Apparently many of you don't seek to liberate others from oppression, you seek to wrest control of the oppression so you may use it for your own ends.

The residents of the Middle East are not the real enemies of American liberty; instead, you are, for teaching your child to serve the State as a colonial oppressor.

The first words that came to mind were in the words of my father: OK HE-RO you want some? Lets Dance!

Just makes the blood boil.
