"When a man knows he is to be hanged in a fortnight, it concentrates his mind wonderfully."

Yes. Well, I discovered yesterday afternoon that Dr. Johnson was entirely correct. The results of my latest liver scan came back. Boil it all down and the odds are that I will belong to the vagaries of history in six months, perhaps more, perhaps less. And as the good doctor said, nothing concentrates the mind so wonderfully. My priorities now are vastly pared down and I am jettisoning much that is now extraneous. I must, in the time remaining, get this wreck of a home in some sort of order for Rosey to live in, which means having the jungle that has grown up around it hacked down, the back deck partially torn off and rebuilt in smaller form, the removal of our above ground wreck of a swimming pool, repair of the back wall where the upper deck meets the house so squirrels will no longer inhabit the floor inside, replacement of the roof (Rosey has taken a loan from her 401K to cover that) and the cleaning of the gutters.
Next priority is to finish Absolved and two other manuscripts so that she has some sort of income stream.
In the process, I must hoe out, organize and donate my private papers to the Birmingham Public Library archives.
All of this means that the blog, among other things, is going to be substantially different in a way that you will notice, so I'm telling you up front why that is so.
Please keep Rosey and my family in your prayers. I beat the odds of my first cancer diagnosis for five years through the grace of God, who evidently wasn't done with me yet. In those five years, we broke the Fast and Furious scandal story, grew the idea known as the Three Percent and weaponized it in best 4th Generation Warfare fashion, built up the armed civil disobedience movement to the post-Sandy Hook laws, and generally became a thorn in the side of the empire. I tried not to waste the time that God granted me, and in truth I could not have accomplished any of it without the help of you, my faithful readers and supporters. I cannot express how truly grateful I am to be rich in such friends as I have made here in these electronic pages and all across the country as I carried the message of "Defy. Resist. Evade." Smuggle." Now, it seems, my time for an accounting is just about here. I intend to face whatever comes with God's help forthrightly, contritely and submissive to His will. Keep me in your prayers that I do not fail in this last challenge.

For the last time Mike; Post a PRAXIS archive and let this blog go. Its not worth the pain and stress that is has obviously caused you. You've done as much as any man could do, and more that most today TRY to do. I think you've done your best ,But your ego aside, Trying to run this blog will shorten what life you have left, and leave you with the kind of stress that will make the end pretty awful. Pull your family around you , let the small shit go, and find your peace man. The rest of us will be OK. We'll carry on fighting, the man, and each other, like families do. Lay down Mike, We got this shit.---Ray

Mike,
You have fought the great fight! Take the time you have to prepare you and your family. Spend quality time with all who are important to you. As someone who has read your blog for a long time all I can say is Thank you! You opened my eyes in so many ways.

God speed to you Mike and God Bless! Take care!

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Mike, I lost my first wife to cancer. The surgeon opened her up, poked around her innards a bit, and then actually broke scrub. He walked out of the O.R., and quietly told me that my wife had 4 to 6 months to live.

She lasted another solid year and a half from that very same date.

For the first 12 months after the doctor's judgement,
her quality of life was actually pretty darn good.

So, where am I going with all of this babbling ?

Simply this:

Your Doctor DOESN'T KNOW, AND NEITHER DO YOU.

Keep praying.

I am jaundiced with jealousy you will be in His Kingdom ahead of me my Brother in Christ! And I am thankful for all the words you have penned for our Country and in support of The Founding Principles and our Declaration and Constitution.

I wish you weren't so burdened with physical activities around your home and could concentrate more upon your papers and finishing Absolved and any work yet to be done on the Oklahoma City Bombing.

So to this end I offer a challenge to your friends and audience to match my $1,000 contribution (expiring 1 week from now) so you might get outside help with the physical work needed for Rosey's benefit and keep your heart, mind and soul focused on penning parting words for those who remain behind. I heartily encourage other like minded and blessed Patriots to step up and offer funds in hopes yet others will match them so we can get this job done. This is urgent, time has never been so valuable nor so short.

My blessings to you Mike Vanderboegh, Rosey, your children and their families and to our beloved land we all hold so close and so dear.

Mike,

In my 30 year career as a Naval Officer I had the honor and pleasure of knowing and serving truly inspirational leaders.

Your wisdom, your tenacity, your tactical and strategic acumen, your writing skills...I could go on and on...are at a level I only witnessed in the most senior Flag Officers I served with. I am in awe of what you have done with, as best as I can tell, no long term formal leadership training. You are a natural and gifted leader of men and a righteous man. A powerful and rare combination in men these days. Your legacy will thrive.

I'm sorry brother... I'm going through a recurrence of my stage 4 metastatic cancer myself right now...

Last time, when I hit stage 4 and the cancer started going anaplastic, I had likely a few weeks left to live... 4-7% chance of positive outcomes.

Now, it's 3 years later.

I tell you... My family are taking it harder than me. Right now, the prognosis is uncertain but positive... should be better than 50% based on current tests, but we will know better next week when the last series of biopsies come in. Here's hoping.

Live every moment man... enjoy every day you get... and remember, there's no such thing as a deadline for cancer. You live, until you don't... so live every day.

I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy... never mind a good man.

You and I have never seen eye to eye on methods, but always on principles.

From my short time I've been privileged to have found your blog, I have come to believe you are a special person with more spiritual depth, profound belief in those human rights enshrined in the Constitution and a commitment to those values you have espoused throughout your life, than most people in this country will ever possess, including myself. When you go to your god, be it soon or otherwise, do so knowing that in the final accounting this world was made better by your intervention, that your deeds and words will echo long after the breath that drove them, and that many of the evil men who walk among us will still be cursing as they lick their wounds long after the hand that opened them has found rest.

Thank you for waking me up 8 long years ago, thank you for the precious time you have given all of us, and thank you for showing us how mere men may dare to stare down the leviathan.

I have enjoyed your post for a long time mike .I am one that is fully aware of what is going on and soon to be coming . You have been a front line warrior for a very long time and your watch will be over at some future point in time . But you have made a lasting impact on those that read your blog .To me that is never to give up and fight to the very end even knowing what that end is ! Persisting and knowing to never give up your arms to anybody at any time ! They can create all kinds of regulations and more gun laws to little effect on those who will if pushed give up our guns using bullet's first and the guns being taken out of our cold dead hands with the chamber empty ! Mike i hope you will allow this blog to go on with a replacement of a like minded individual because this information is much needed in this world today .There are others that still need to be reached ! Psalm 90:10 says we live to 70 and maybe more but eventually we all go .Even if we live to 80 or 90 or 110 our life seems to us no more than a span, so soon does it pass away, and we take our departure. I myself am a 2 time cancer survivor missing multiple organs .During those times i came to accept my fate and it shook me to my inner core that i am not designed to live forever in this human body .The anger, fear and finally acceptance occurred over time .The things that really matter are family , friends and the connections we had to others in this life .In 100 years from now nobody will know my name or who i was as all that will be left is a cemetery stone with a name, birth and death date on it .Elvis Presley will be like John J. Pershing , a long lost past figure of history seldom known to today's world .Mike you have served a lot of people and your information and postings have been a Hugh help to many .The constant fight and struggles of your life is seen in your writings and is an encouragement to many that suffer similar health issues so we have this deeper connection because we just know ! deficit omne quod nasciture

The struggle for the birth of America and its survival is rooted in the freedom to propagate the Gospel of Jesus Christ. You are a part of that struggle, and you have been a warrior in a time of apathy caused by spiritual darkness. Whatever we become as a nation is in the hands of the One who superintends over all things, the Lord Himself. But to us mortals, your impact is so profound as to be compared equally with the likes of Captain Parker.

But rest easy in knowing that you have done everything you could to prepare everyone to weather it on their own.
In what time you have left, be it short or be it long, as many may hope, take that time for you and your own, for quiet time with your family and closest friends, and for peaceful contemplation. This is good advice for all of us.

I found your blog several years ago, after I'd become an expat out of disgust with the direction this country was going, utterly despairing of any way to turn it around and convinced that I was alone. You inspired me to come back, to not give up on the Founders' vision, to believe that we could win and to try to make it happen.

Do what you need to do, be with your family and share every moment you can with them. You've led from the front, by example, it's time to let those of us who've followed now lead. When the time comes (and I pray that the docs are wrong, that you've much more time left), go to your rest in the knowledge that your labors have not been in vain, that we will carry on and that the light of Liberty will not be extinguished.

God bless you, Dutchman.

Mike, May God continue to be with you and your family as your earthly role in this fight enters what appears to be its final chapters. Being far behind enemy lines, as I suspect just like most here, I still have not had the opportunity to meet you personally, and yet there will always be an unpayable debt owed to you for your immense contributions to the cause of liberty. You have used so much of the energy you do have to articulate that which few men are willing to articulate, and that appreciation must be extended to Rosie and your beautiful daughters, who no doubt sacrificed countless time with you knowing how necessary your earthly work has been and continues to be to your fellow man.

What you and your constitutionalist cohorts have been able to expose to the world has already saved innocent lives, and will continue to do so far into the future when these foreign corporations acting as if they are legitimate governments are finally made subordinate to the rule of law, and lawfully terminated by a restored Republic.

If I have one suggestion, it is that prior to bequeathing all of your work product permanently to the archives of your local library, that whatever is presently in digital form and of mass benefit (and not easily monetized to support your wife and girls), be copied for distribution far and wide. Storage costs are well under five cents for a gigabyte these days, and sites such as dropbox, when used properly, can do tremendous further good for this cause long after the Lord calls you home.

And I have to second the advice of NHPatriot1776, a raw/organic diet of nutrient-dense foods has worked miracles for many. The reloading and smuggling can be put on the back burner, and eating like a sensible hippie can extend both the quality and quantity of time with your loved ones, and has shown merit of stopping the cancer entirely (no sugars, no artificial flavors or colors as well...I know, it's tough, but it can save your life). I'd love to send you a large gift card to Whole Foods, but I have the sneaking suspicion you'd sell it to a Volvo wagon-driving, pro-Margaret Sanger, demanding "mom" in the Whole Foods parking lot, mostly for the cash to smuggle more verboten defensive materiel to those of us behind enemy lines, and partly for the absolute kick any of us would get from informing the demanding "mom" of the high calling her Yellen Notes have been re-appropriated towards. And besides, Whole Foods' founder and CEO, John Mackey, is a free-market guy who once (accurately, I might add) compared ObamaCare to the fascism it most definitely is.

Take care of yourself, get the fluoride out of your water, get plenty of rest, and please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

OK, Mike, first off Fark your doctor and what he thinks he knows, there is no true expiration date, so tell him to kiss off. That said, there's nothing wrong with making sure that your survivors are set up and cared for. For all the education and enlightenment that you have shared with us, I think you deserve a reward. I for one pledge $100 dollars so that you will not have to do all that hard work when your health and time (poorly spent in these endeavors in my humble opinion) isn't up to it. I would help you do it but I have my own farm and family to take care of (not to mention that I live thousands of miles from you), however I'm sure that there are many landscapers and subcontractors in your area that can do those jobs that need to be done. I challenge everyone reading your blog to also cough up a corresponding value to match mine and, no, you may not use these funds to continue this movement. I will be sending a check this week and I encourage all that have been moved and educated by your selfless actions and blog to do the same. In the immortal words of Spock: "Live long and prosper".

Mike,
Beyond sorry to hear this news. Been reading your blog for only a few years,
You have been a great inspiration to those of us up here in N.Y, My son and I wear your

"Fight Tyranny" hat to gun shows etc. and get into lots of discussions. As you know the

compliance with the "UNsafe" act in New York has been low. You can take a lot of credit

in that.

We will sing your songs for a long time to come. If it is your time and thats a big "IF",

know that you will not be forgotten and can go in peace.

For the rest of us I believe many are destined to die in a pile of brass.

Mike,

I have not written much, but have appreciated your blog daily for many years. I cannot express my sorrow to hear that you may be beating us to Heaven soon. I personally, will hope and pray for a miracle healing, not only for my own selfish reasons, but for your family, and the family of Patriots who are inspired by you. I will purchase your book when printed, even tho I have read all that you have so far, to not only help support Rosie, but to help keep your name held high. I have to say that, even tho I have never met you in person, I feel like I have, and my eyes are getting glassy writing this.
It kinda pisses me off, that the people in my life who I really loved, those I called friend, have all passed on, and I wish I could meet you and tell you that in person.
Especially now, at this time in history, when we need people like you the most, maybe God is calling out some of us to do more.
I am reminded of a particular moment in my life, which has both colored every event since, and was a milepost, something on which I gauge people to this day, and reminds me of you (in that YOU have stood up, when others have not)
I was a young 17 year old recruit, in 1979.
I had joined the Cav Scouts, and had just been issued my rifle, and had not been taught how to use it yet, not quite thru basic.
One morning, like all the others, a fire alarm rang sometime around 3:00 in the morning, with trash can lids caroming off the walls for effect, and we piled out in boots and blankets on a snowy dark, Fort Knox morning in December.
The Drill Instructors told us that the Fulda gap, in Germany had been overran by the Soviets, and tactical battlefield nukes had been employed.
They told us that 50,000 NATO casualties had already been reported, and that our country needed us now.
We were told that Since the all volunteer Army was a new thing, that President Carter was ONLY accepting volunteers to go thru accelerated training, to be sent to bolster the dead and dying, to STOP the Soviets before they could reach us, and if anyone of us would, please step to the front of the ranks.
I was shaking, so many thoughts ran thru my head, I was scared for my life. I thought, "If only someone would take a step, I would have courage, and know that I wasnt going to die alone"
Thats when I KNEW, that it was up to me to take that step.
I was dizzy, weak, as I stepped forward, tears running down my face.
Only one joined me from my platoon, but it was enough.
You have taken that step. I will join you later.

Scouts out.

Oh for pete's sakes! Most of you sound like he's dead already! Things don't have to be this way, Mike doesn't have to die (just yet). Cancer doesn't have to be a death sentence. Big tip of the cap to those who have offered sensible advice for Mike to doctor himself. Your best bet Mike, is to shun those in the white coats (whose cancer survival success rate is 3% or worse) and go instead for some milk thistle (look it up, it's regenerative), some energy & superb nutrition found in green drinks/smoothies, detox yourself (yes, you need it), do a parasite cleanse (yes, everyone needs to do the same), and chase that with ample amounts of distilled or filtered water (1 litre per 60lbs). Time to be responsible & take charge of your own health. You can do it, we all can. Look up Dr. Jennifer Daniels in a search, she has several years of podcasts called 'truth files', interviews, youtube vids, the works. She's everyone's best bet for longevity. Besides, you're too young to go so soon. This 'remedy' is akin to a 'lifestyle makeover', and nobody said it would be easy after a lifetime of bad food habits. So, just go and do the best you can to get well. Again, you can do it (or at least give it a whirl), even at this apparently late date. Keep us posted. All the best! Oh and thanks to those men (giants) who have offered use of their finances, time, labor & love so Mike doesn't have to work so hard, though we know he's gonna anyway.

Sir, New to this site, but already have a deep appreciation for you. Just throwing this out....Have you considered this type of treatment? link below....

http://phoenixtears.ca/

My father died of bone cancer in late Nov.. He was a tough bird all his life and took great care of himself. He fought to the end but the healthcare system lied to him and in the end killed him with a non solution of chemo. He had absolute faith in his doctors. I tried many many times to get him to go to Maryland, (closest state) and get cannibis oil treatments. In the end I stood by his bed three days before he died and knew he would not make it. In an effort to prepare him for meeting his maker and not hiding the truth and had to be the one to tell him to prepare to meet his God. (The caregiver kept telling him he was fine and would make it.) It broke my heart to tell him the truth, but today I am happy I made the tough decision to speak the truth. This gave him a chance to pray and ask our Father whatever needed to be made right before he passed. Someday I will see him again. Anyway, just suggesting alternative treatment and also there as I am sure you know no substitute for a right relationship through Jesus Christ with the Father when we pass. God Bless You PS.Destine to be a 3%er.

Before I stumbled upon you and your merry band, Mike, we had what seemed to be one eventual option here in NYS. And I was pretty pissed off about it, that it would have to come to that.

It took a bit to swallow the anger, but you gave me the hope to do so, and showed me that there's a better way to stop these pricks. An "emperor has no clothes" way. And people are waking up to it. We're realizing we can effectively laugh at these collectivists and criminals, instead. The catechism makes them helpless, our morality is never threatened.

You're not going anywhere soon, but I wanted to make certain I thanked you for your leadership and wisdom. I'll do my best to live up to it. And as we say in the firehouse, "We'll take it from here."

Dear Mike,

As a few others have, I urge you NOW, FINALLY, to try some solid alternative treatments. The doctors, as much as they've tried, have nothing left to offer. All they can do is likely to only shorten and diminish the quality of the time you have left.

I met a woman in a waiting room at the hospital a couple months ago whose daughter recovered from 4th stage breast cancer by taking the essiac tea that was mentioned above. The same brand that poster cited.

The diet options, cutting out ALL sources of sugar to starve the beast and boosting nutrition with smoothies and supplements, make up the second leg of your strategy.

Then, to go strongly on the offensive, use the best pH therapy we know about, cesium chloride. That is what I was prepared to stake my life on if the FDA hadn't happened to approve the new miracle drug for my exact cancer only a month before my diagnosis. It was just as safe or I wouldn't have used it, and with insurance it ended up costing less and money was tight.

If you ignore the additional supplements the vendor will recommend and just focus on the CsCl and a potassium supplement, it will not be expensive... and will buy you time. If you ask, I'll pitch in to the limits of my sorry excuse for a budget.

See the cancertutor.com page on it for details.

Whatever you decide, Godspeed to you dear man. Our love and prayers go out to you and Rosie and all that care for you. Peace.

M.

If I am right, then I must ask you to fight. I know several people who have beaten cancer, including my best friend, the best drummer I ever played with, who beat Lymphoma after a long struggle.

Mike,
Let me start by saying that we have similar trajectories, though mine only recently conformed to the shape of your own. Both of us started on the revolutionary left and painstakingly, slowly were moved by events and encounters to a saner politics and worldview.

I came to know of you some years ago, when I was a virulently anti-gun activist, prepared to eliminate the 2nd Amendment if it could be done, convinced that those on your side were primitive thinkers, bottom dwellers, etc. Utterly untouchable in my sense of intellectual and moral superiority. I learned of your role in the 3 Percent movement (mostly from sources I now recognize as completely untrustworthy) and attacked you and your fellows with savage, righteous anger. I am not proud of things I said and wrote during that period.

"Untouchable," I just wrote. Not quite so. Something did touch me, and it convinced me that those I thought were my fellow crusaders for moral justice and peace were actually up to just what you and your friends were saying they were up to, that is, the effort to increase state control over the individual in virtually every facet of his life. Slowly, with great difficulty, relapses, confusion, I began to see that I had it wrong, desperately wrong, and that I had to change.

It was not easy, as I'm sure you can attest too from your own transformation. I lost many friends and associates, had to do the heavy lifting of forging new such contacts and support, had to remake myself in a thousand ways. I am not now a 3 Percenter, but I understand and respect and admire the movement, and I share its broad sense of who the good guys and bad guys are, and what needs to be done to protect our freedom in the contemporary troubled age.

All of that is of little interest at present, given what you say about your health, and I indulge myself in this small autobiographical excursion only to make apparent the value of what I will say now: you, sir, likely played some role in my transformation. As I read your thoughts on this blog and listened to some of your speeches at various events, my collectivist instincts all kicked in to the attempt to make you a villain, a monster, a cretin. Yet they proved ineffectual at the job. Much as I tried, I could not hear you as a lunatic, but heard you rather as a sane man speaking plain truths become politically incorrect in an age marked by groupthink and cultural censorship of the most malevolent kind. I began to appreciate your position, your history, your careful read of every event and news item of which you wrote here. I do not know it to be so, but strongly suspect that this played some role in my transformation, and I thank you for it.

Medical science is a great tool, and it is stunningly accurate much of the time, but we all know that it now and again fails to predict accurately what the future holds. May this be one of those occasions and may you get more time, Mike.

Hello everyone my name is Ashley and i am here to share to the world at large about the impossibility made possible by Dr Zadson of eduduzadsontemple@yahoo.com who cured me of cancer just in a space of 7 days with his powerful spell magic.
I have used chemotherapy for the past 4 years and the cancer could only be controlled and not cured and i spent a whole lot of money even sold my property just to get medication as there was no assistance from anyone. Until i came across a post of how spell cures cancer all by the hands of Dr Zadson i didnt see the need to try this cos i thought it was impossible but on a second thought my life was already almost gone so anything could go just to get a cure and i emailed Dr Zadson and he told me what to do and gave me the processes of his work and how he has cured a lot of peple using his native spell magic. And i believed him and accepted his offer to help just 6 days later i got an email from him telling me to go for a medical test just to be sure that i no longer had cancer it took me several hours to make a move to the hospital even as the test was going on i still had a little doubt but to my greatest surprise and that of my doctor i was told that all the cancerous cells have died with no trace of them in my system and i am cancer free. Since then my life have been smooth and happy and i cant stop singng praises of Dr Zadson if you are in need of this cure wait no more but contact him on eduduzadsontemple@yahoo.com
