“Courage is not simply one of the virtues but the form of every virtue at the testing point.” -- C.S. Lewis.
C.S. Lewis wrote that a virtuous patriotism becomes “militant only to protect what it loves.” This theme animates 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.

Perhaps the most important lesson of Benghazi is that, no matter what assurances or guarantees of government protection or assistance you might think you have, ultimately you are on your own the moment it is inconvenient for the regime to go out of their way to save you.
Courage is a fine thing. But anyone who hasn't already found the courage to stand against this tyranny isn't going to find it soon. Better now to focus on telling cowards what they most fear, that the tyrants won't protect them in the end.
