"The latest shakeup was first reported by the website Sipsey Street Irregulars."

From Tickle the Wire, the federal law enforcement blog: "More Shakeups at ATF Over Fast and Furious."
Hey! What about David? It WAS a joint scoop.

As I have long held, there are two sets of standards in this country. One for the ruling elite and one for the unwashed masses. AFT management is no exception to that rule. ATF has dismissed (fired) low ranking special agents for a lot smaller reasons than the criminal activity conducted by Chait, McMahon, Hoover and others. Yet these three are "moved to non-operational positions" which allow them to continue feeding at the public trough. This also allows them an income to help cover costs when they "lawyer up". When the ATF/FBI arrests someone, one of the first things they do is to try and separate the individual from earning an income while awaiting trial. Most of the time, even without evidence, the U.S.Attorney's office makes the claim before a judge that the individual is a threat to the community of a flight risk or both. Special Agents of both agencies have even visited employers trying to get the employer to fire the suspect, target, person-of-interest. I do not know what GS level Chait,McMahon and Hoover are at, but it is safe to assume they are making a chunk of change. This perverted system of "justice" has got to change. We have got to have ONE system, equally applied, to everyone. That will be a major priority of mine should I survive the coming civil war they intend to launch! On another note: congrats to Mike and David!

SWIFT, I agree on the "ONE system" that they should be arrested and locked up like anyone else. No exceptions.

But here is where I disagree with that "ONE system".
After that civil war, please have this included: Anyone that has taken an oath to uphold the Constitution and the laws of the land who has committed a crime shall serve double the fine/length of sentence compared to the average citizen.

The Establishment media, Old media, is so vested in Obama that they refuse to risk admitting how badly they screwed it all up betting it all on black. But that is only part of the reason they avoid GunWalker. Obviously, Old media is just as vested in the failure that is gun control itself, but it is starting to realize that its own "reputation" is on the line.

The last thing media, especially wire and print, want to do is acknowledge New Media kicking their collective (and collectivist) asses. Even FOX News is guilty of it, why, we cannot have David generating revenues based on clicks by pointing to his pieces. That would be directly helping the competition they so desperately hope to annihilate.

Trying to hold on to the waning power provided by strangle holding information really is making Old Media look more foolish by the day.

Mike and David, you may well be being passed over in the present in the credit department. And a travesty that indeed is. However, let me be the one to remind you both of this reality based actuality.

History will ALWAYS know, posterity will ALWAYS be able to see, that it is primarily you two who drove this story into the Old Media realm with your fearless dedication and determination to witness the truth told.

And we are forever grateful to you for doing so. True Patriots of a more genuine variety have never lived.

I wonder which of the trio will be the first to start jockeying for immunity to put the rest of the garbage in the trash can. My bet is on the first one that talked to a lawyer. I wonder who that was.

Keep up the great work.

Quote from tickle the wire: "Before the first transfer, Hoover was the acting Deputy Director of the ATF, the number 2 spot; Chait was the Assistant Director in Charge of Field Operations and McMahon was Deputy Assistant Director of Field Operations."

So F&F, according to Napolitano and Holder, was a locally run operation in Arizona? Why are upper level managers being cubby-holed for it? Once again the crooks think they'll throw out the lie du jure and it will be accepted at face value. When that one doesn't work they'll "withdraw" it and throw out another one.

"This is the operative statement. The others are inoperative." -- Ron Zeigler, Richard M. Nixon's press secretary in the "Watergate" days.

So..... Which former president did Obama say was his inspiration?
