And what, exactly, are the Lairds of Fairfax, Virginia going to do about this infringement? Is the NRA going to just stand there and bleed?

"Virginia to stop recognizing concealed carry gun permits from 25 states."

NRA headquarters should have been moved to TX, WY, or ID,
over 30 years ago. Sorry, but VA has been occupied territory for at least
that long. It's simply too close to the main weasel nests of D.C.
not to be "compromise contaminated".

Those 25 states should stop recognizing VA drivers licenses.

Seems the same ruling that the United States Supreme Court issues over gay marriage, meaning if its legal in one state, it has to be legal in all states, should apply.

I sent a message to the VA AG's office stating my intent to carry in their state regardless. You can do the same:

Dear Virginia,

I am going to miss the drives along your Blue Ridge Parkway, the views of your mountains and lakes and the frequent trips I make to shop and eat within your borders. You may not miss my personal contributions to your local and state economies, for I am only one. However, I'll wager a bet that I am not going to be the only one.

"Herring’s office could not say how many people are suspected of crossing into Virginia with concealed weapons to commit crimes."

My guess is that number would be ZERO. As in ZERO crimes permitted and ZERO percentage of crimes committed.

And to put it into terms Mr. Herring might understand, that would be NONE!!!

Apparently this frickin' idiot hasn't heard that CCW permit holders are more law abiding than LEOs. Or he's heard, and chooses to ignore that fact. Which is probable, because he's a Statist Democrat HACK.

I just let the folks in Virginia know that I won't be coming to visit anymore (I have family in East Tennessee just 10 minutes from Virginia). You can too at:

Have not heard squat about this from the NRA. VCDL is all over this, but I'm not certain that they have legal recourse. They HAVE gotten the word out to all members, however, and this is another point to strengthen the upcoming annual Rally Day numbers in Richmond.

As an NC resident living on the border of VA who travels to VA almost each day, guess I'll have to get a non resident CCW. I swear, it just keep getting worse by the day. Is there no hope left for the citizens of these sorry ass United States? I'm more disgusted with each passing day. I can't even imagine what kind of hell hole my great nephews will be living in when they reach my age.

"Those 25 states should stop recognizing VA drivers licenses."

They recognize each other's driving permission slip sand marriage permission slips, etc., because of the "full faith and credit" clause in the Constitution.

Why don't they recognize each other's CCW "Permits" and Licenses"? Why indeed. Perhaps they just don't want to. When did it become illegal to "bear arms"? Who has the authority to make such a law? Isn't that very thing proscribed by the Constitution?

When did it become illegal to move about in one's own country, by a privately owned means of conveyance? The answer is, it cannot be made illegal. It can be illegal, however, for persons to engage in commerce on the public roads without asking permission first. Are you a fictitious commercial entity? Or are you a natural human being with natural rights? Look into it.

You can tell this to "the people" all day long. The response you get is: blank stare, blink twice.

I was surprised to Texas on the list of states NOT affected by the VA AG's action - not that it is likely to affect me in any case. I didn't lose anything in Virginia.

Why do people keep falling for the bait designed to get gun owners to beg for permission slips? Oh that's right, cuz the NRA told them over and over to submit their rights because if they don't it could be worse.

The pubes at the NRA go suck eggs. They got us into this mess in the first place. They certainly won't help us get out of it.

Many states follow a "if you recognize mine, then i will recognize yours" policy. The fallout will be widespread.

I don't need to travel through VA anyway. I agree with Longbow. I'll try to get Alabama to stop recognizing Virginia's driver licenses. Great idea! Or maybe Alabama State Troopers could just find a reason to stop travelers with Virginia car tags and ticket them for some traffic violation!

This is just another scheme by the commie pigs to divide and conquer by pitting states against each other in the form of "color of law". The Constitution is being pieced out to mean whatever they want it to mean for their unconstitutional over reach. The BoR's are the same in any State as the Constitution intended it to be, they know this, but the power rush running through their brains have seriously clouded their thinking.

Welcome to CT folks. Bet you didn't think your state had commie leaders but surprise surprise surprise, it does. As a former resident of VA I'd like to say GFYS to the leadership of that sorry cesspit. To close to mordor indeed.
