But, you don't have to be from Canada to be a collectivist asshat. . .
"You Are Not Going to Resist the Government With Your Guns."
My comment, which is "awaiting moderation."
The application of 4th Generation Warfare to an American civil war does not require "hiding in caves." It only requires using our ubiquitous deer rifles to target the war makers and decision takers of the regime, to include intellectual apologists for tyranny. We know that the collectivists will fight to the last federal agent and oath-breaking soldier. Will they fight to the first Senator, the second congressman, the third White House aide, the fourth profiteering businessman, the fifth talking head? My grandfather had a saying, "Son, you don't poke a wolverine with a sharp stick unless you want your balls ripped off." For the record, he was talking about my Grandmother, who was known to be so fearless that she once waded barefoot into some bottom land they were draining and chopped the heads off nine water moccasins with her garden hoe. Don't go down this road, or expect that you know how total strangers will react when poked with a sharp stick, or with the muzzle of some government goon's rifle. We won't fire the first shots, but we'll damn sure fire the last.

About the revolt part and that little people cant fight. I used to be a missionary in south america and watched a town of people armed only with bows and spears take out a company of special forces and take down 2 helicopters. Its all about the will. Not the weapons.
That guy takes up a lot of paper and paragraphs to talk a whole lot of bullshit...If he thinks everyone is too chicken-shit to stand up then I say "Speak for yourself, pal"..
thats why he is a Canadian. To much of a 'obama' to live in a free country. h/t to Col. Peterson
I have become convinced that journalism school teaches that "critical thinking skills" are defined this way...Take the most obvious truths you can find, write the absolute opposite and laugh all the way to the bank with adclick revenues created by people who show up to expose and oppose the drivel written.
Somewhere along the way, the drones became so callous and so indoctrinated that they started to believe their own contrarian efforts as itself being truth. Group think among colleagues morphed open anti truth sentiment into a con that what they were writing really was the truth.
The funniest part I see happening right now is that with the old tired arguments defeated, they are moving to admitting they want outright bans and even repeal of the Second Amendment itself. In a bit of ferocious irony, if you look closely, the arguments they are starting to make are actually arguments FOR the Second Amendment.
Criminals will ALWAYS get guns, soooooo there is no choice but to collect them all up! Separating people into two "classes" those who can have guns and those who can't isn't a option sooooo the only answer is to ban them entirely so nobody can have them. Etc etc, See it? Their game now has migrated to using our own winning arguments against us. Usurpers usurp, it is what they do.
Not all gun grabbers will agree with admitting confiscation outright, so they will then bill themselves as 'moderate" and thus the ones holding the "compromise". Yeah, like we have never dealt with that before.
I don't believe these people who call for this civil war will be dissuaded. I ponder that it might be time to stop telling them how we plan to win it.
Ct.Governor[D]im Wit Dannell Malloy. Proclaims executive action today. Will stop the sale of firearms. To any Ct resident who's on the no fly list. Who the fuck makes those lists ? What a renegade collectivist utopia we have become. Longing for the 2nd shot heard around the world. Behind enemy lines Ct.
A bunch of rag-tag, 10th century illiterate goatherds have held off the world's only super power for fourteen years. There were four or five bombings in Kabul today. I think me and my Lapua can do as well, and I don't have a goat.

Mine:
"Remember how much disruption two guys with one rifle and a ratty old car caused in DelMarVa over a period of three weeks a decade or so ago.
Imagine what a half-dozen pairs of guys could do in a half-dozen large cities."
I think that the most relevant counter to his particular argument is that the military-industrial complex depends absolutely on a large, secure back area well away from the front lines.
How exactly they are to enjoy that once they start obliterating American civilian populations with bombers is not addressed...because it cannot be. Right now I'm defensive, but I'm ticking towards offensive, and it wouldn't take wiping a small town off the map to tip me over. I sense it would be plenty for a lot of folks.

Couldn't agree more.
Best Thing I have Read in Alooooong Time!!!
You get some guy who just saw his entire family destroyed, his first instinct will be to want to comic suicide... assuming he does not, no force on earth will be able to barter or reason with him in his quest for blood. The war makers assume that all people will be afraid to die. For some, death will be welcome when everything is lost. I know if my daughter was split in half with 50 caliber rounds, nothing would reduce my rage levels until the hatred center of my brain was depleted of blood.
The depressing part about this essay -- well, 2 depressing things.
One, it's on Popehat, which usually has better quality control in its posts.
Two, it's from Marc Randazza. Randazza has been doing yeoman work fighting against attempts to infringe on First Amendment rights. Why he would write such a goofy, senseless screed against the Second Amendment is beyond me. I am utterly mystified. I expect this kind of bullshit out of DailyKOS or Huffing-Glue Post, not Popehat.
