Anyone that doesn't understand the difference between ISIS and Christians defending themselves needs to take a closer look at ISIS, perhaps while kneeling next to one in an orange jumpsuit.

You're welcome to your opinion, m'friend, but come the 2nd this old man's gonna gladly openly pack heat. It has been a damned long time coming and I'm not gonna waste the opportunity. Orange isn't my color - especially with BCDC (Bexar County Dept. of Corrections) stencilled on the back. Been there; done that. Once was too much. Still regret not going to hear the Dutchman speak in Alamo Plaza but I had JUST wriggled free of Leviathan's jaws after 14 months of calling in once a week and getting permission to leave town to see my son and I was more'n a tad shy of popping up on the radar once more. Ain't afraid, mind you, just don't fancy another brush with the law without a real good reason.
Meh, "needs to know" is a stretchy term. There are people who need to know that I carry so they don't do something stupid. That doesn't mean they need to know what I carry...even if they do something stupid I'd rather end them before they figure it out...okay, "rather" is being used in a specific sense here, I'm a bad enough guy to like that moment of gloating superiority, but I'm also a smart enough guy to forgo it to secure a tactical advantage.
Back to the point, there is a purpose in making people aware of the potential consequences of their stupid actions beforehand. And one of those stupid actions is advocating/voting for gun control.
