Forbes: "Oath Keeper Founder At Risk Of Being Disbarred."

Forwarded to me by a friend with the question: "What the hell is going on, and how much of it is self-inflicted?"
I wish I knew the answer to that.

Maybe I am missing something but it sure looks to me like this is admonishment over process rather than punishment over substance. IOW - they got to him.

A "license" to "pratice law" is as bogus as a "license to carry". If I want Mike V to stand up for me in court, it is my right to choose the council I trust. It is illegitimate for a court to usurp my right and decide for me who I may have aid me in my defense.

Maybe this is the endgame - to force this point out in the open. It would be monumental if that is the case. The BAR is the most dangerous and usurpatious gang in this country and it has always been so.

So for now, I am going to reserve judgement on this one.

This amounts to finding a series of relatively minor pretexts to justify abuse of the laws to publicly humiliate an inconvenience to the elitist agenda. Of course, it should be considered unconstitutional for there to be a legal bar to anyone having anyone they choose to represent them in a court of law, regardless of credentials, because it functions to ensure that many of those accused of crimes cannot rely on their defense counsel to actually assist them rather than the court system prosecuting them. But going after lawyers who do represent the interests of the citizenry against the rapacity of illegitimate government authority is just grinding salt into the wound.

Boy, I wish I could have a "do over" on a lot of things. If true, sounds like he will lose his license and continue to lead the OK. Sounds like he was juggling too many things.

It is really all about local nowadays.

Steward has always had his own thing going and a lot of local organizations are doing their own thing themselves, many (if not most) have severed ties with the National.

When SHTF time comes it will then be about how local people work together on whether they make it thru the storm, they can call themselves wherever they want, don't ya know!

O K has been losing State chapters for over a year that I know of. The most recent is Pennsylvania, a very large chapter. If you go on their site on Facebook (Pennsylvania Oath Keepers) and private message them they will send you a copy of the document and a brief of what has been going on.

No surprise for me ......

I stepped away from Stewart a number of years ago. Like everyone else, Stewart is his own worst enemy. However, Stewart had a great idea with Oathkeepers. Such a great idea that the left and the .gov have been all over him ever since. Take a look at the twitter feed of the Forbes writer who wrote the piece. Her posted bio and her comments will reveal her as a just another "journalist" with a political/social agenda that has nothing to do with freedom.

Best tyranny you could LET come into fruition...

All of sudden people may understand now why it is up to an educated alert and dedicated civilian population to keep government under control (the Constitution established how it WAS TO WORK ((in very simple 3rd grader language)), but we insisted on allowing morons and petty corrupt politicians behind the controls so this train wreck is due to that complacency and outright cowardice)so that this WOULDN'T happen, but alas America couldn't handle that simple task of being vigilant, and as such the corpse rots when the dream died...

george Washington was said to have NOT killed his fathers Cherry tree, but the death of the Tree of Liberty lies squarely at the feet of complacent and cowardly Americans.
