"Dem: Pro-Cruz 'Sandy Hook' ad 'makes me want to throw up.'"

"It's sick that he thinks he'll win votes by specifically pointing out that in the wake of 20 dead first graders, he was the face of the fight to ensure no action was taken to stop more deranged killers from walking into elementary schools with military-style assault weapons loaded with 30-round clips of ammunition." PAC spokesman Rick Shaftan called on Murphy to apologize, saying the Connecticut Democrat is "politicizing Sandy Hook with his call for expanding gun control laws when it was in fact his own gun control laws and silly gun-free zones that caused this tragedy.”

You know what makes me want to throw up? The gall of the people of Newtown to stand on the coffins of the dead to preach their anti-gun rhetoric that got us where we are now. And it continues, because they will not be dissatisfied until private firearms ownership is abolished.

Just for you panty-peeing hoplophobes.....last December 14th (what I celebrate as National Firearms Appreciation Day) I picked up my purchase at Cabela’s. You see, I thought it quite appropriate to purchase a firearm, and wanted to make sure the state of Kommiecticut had to approve and date my transaction on that day. For that is the anniversary of TWENTY EIGHT people killed at Sandy Hook. ALL WERE VICTIMS OF THE FAILINGS OF THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT to properly reign in the nut that was Adam Lanza, especially Adam himself.

I make sure everyone remembers there were TWENTY EIGHT victims, not just the 26 from the school. But see, only remembering the 26 tugs at the old heartstrings, and makes the moral equivalence of all gun owners as potential mass murderers so much easier.

Since the families of Newtown took the political low road with the anti-gun fools, all their “victim” status is now null and void, much like the Safe Act in NY and SB1160 in Kommiecticut.

When Cruz is elected president it will be a pleasure to watch those opposed to our constitution from both the left & right choke on their own vomit, don't ya know!

"Murphy [is] backing legislation that would close a loophole that allows federally licensed gun retailers to sell a gun without a background check after 72 hours."

What the HELL is this nitwit talking about? I was under the impression that ANY sale by an FFL required a background check. I bought my Uzi Eagle at a gun show and I DAMNED well had to go through a background check. IS there some sort of "72 hour" dodge that lets an FFL get around the requirement? Or is this simply one more leftist lie?

P.S. Mike: "Absolved"???

It's not a "dodge". On the inside of the 4473, in the section the dealer fills out, question 21c covers the disposition. There are 4 check boxes. They are Proceed, imediate transfer allowed. Denied, no transfer allowed. Cancelled, I've never used that one. and Delayed. If you receive a delayed, for what ever reason, they will give you a date for 3 days from the check date. If you do not hear back from the FBI check center in that time, you are allowed to transfer the firearm. 21d also has 4 check boxes in the event you do hear back from them. Proceed, Denied and Cancelled are all followed by a blank line for the date that you received a response. The 4th box says "No resolution was provided within 3 business days".

I received one delay in the 10 years I've been in business. After the 3 days, I transferred the firearm to the customer. Three months later, the ATF called and wanted to know the disposition of the transaction. I told them that it had been transferred months ago. They thanked me and told me they would take care of it.

I hope this answers your question.

If NICS fails to respond then a FFL can go forward with a sale absent a NICS approval.
Billed as a saving grace by the NRA it is really just a set up to be able to have gun grabbing journalists tout the very bullshit you just read there. The reality is that government is not empowered to impose commands, infringements, such as NICS checks and FFL licenses IN THE FIRST PLACE. (When was the last time you saw a NRA press release day that????)

I find it incredible that some of us still can't believe that the Marxists would actually, deliberately, tell lies.

It's even more incredible that some of us can't seem to realize that the people doing this are in fact Marxists executing a plan to seize power and then implement, more Marxist programs and controls.
