"Nobody wants to ride to the call of an uncertain trumpet." Oregon "Will Not Comply" (unless the authorities are made nervous, or somebody doesn't like it, and whatever you do don't invite Vanderboegh to speak because he's "too radical.")

"For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?" -- 1 Corinthians 14:8.
The wheels are coming off Oregon's SB 941 I Will Not Comply Demonstration even before it gets started, and it is, according to my sources, simply a matter of lack of guts on the part of failed leadership. Many comments at their Facebook page linked above are similar to this:
Hey Sunshine Patriots, Yes, that is what you are right now. I remember when we had the I will not comply rally in WA, PATRIOTS from around the country, including OR, came, and we stood and defied tyranny. Today, the same tyranny is at YOUR doorstep, and yet you still want to cower and appease your masters.
I had offered to come out and speak at their rally, no preconditions demanded. As I explained before, I prefer now to drive rather than fly, and I am willing to spend a week on the road to carry the message to the heathen and faithful alike just for the gas money and a place to lay my head at night. In fact, a Washington state activist has already offered to pick up the gas expense.
I offered, but heard . . . nothing but the echo of my offer. So I started calling folks in Oregon last night after a tip from a reader that the leadership didn't want me there because I was "too radical." Odd for a group that claims it is going to engage in armed civil disobedience. Only a few calls were required to confirm the report. "No guts," said a disgusted Oregon activist. Said another activist, "They claim they want help from all over the country," (especially from the successful Liberty for All folks in nearby Washington state, I was told, because they want at least 3,000 people there), "but they are afraid to deal with the realities of the position they've staked out." People are getting very frustrated, he said, and the leadership is entirely to blame. "Well," I said, "Nobody wants to ride to battle following the call of an uncertain trumpet."
"Yeah," he agreed, "they need to lead, follow or get the hell out of the way." He paused. Then he offered gratuitous testicular advice to certain members of the Oregon leadership by name. Part of the problem, I was told by another source, is that the hard core of the resistance folks in Oregon are currently preoccupied with the BLM-miner situation, leaving the "leadership" roles to people who apparently will not lead and are reluctant to offend anybody. As if armed civil disobedience is ever going to be popular with the politicians and the media. (The reader is permitted to sarcastically snort at this time.)
I don't know how this situation is going to resolve itself, but I can tell you that I am being disinvited by official silence from coming out to speak. Unfortunate.

I saw several people from LFA point out that they are planning to come to an unfamiliar AO, where there is a greater risk of arrest because they'll be violating both the state law and the city ordinance that demands all open carry without a concealed permit be unloaded. The LFA folks literally said "The least you can do is stand to the level we are. Considering its your state and all."

Another pointed out that it's pretty sad when the out of staters have more balls than the guys in Oregon. So much for that 3000 people they want so bad. Guess they'll have to make do with a few cowards, while LFA shows them how it's done.

Oregon has their Judenrate just like we do up here in Washington.

A Judenrat will only lead you to a cattle car if you follow.

My fellow patriots in Oregon stand strong against all tyrants and judenrate there is really no difference!

The fact that a lot of us are preoccupied with the mine/blm issue is truthful, BUT we need to not just get caught up with one issue and forget that other areas need attention as well. Mike what will it take to get you out here. Ill put the damn rally together myself if that's what it takes. Myself and my group held security in Feb and was asked to do it again for this rally but if its falling apart Im happy to jump in and work on the fix...

My name is Robert Rowe and as I write this response, I am in Merlin, Oregon at the OGR staging area readying myself to return home. I can be found here on site every week from Saturday through Monday. I also attended the rally last December in Olympia and I helped organize the rally on the steps of the Capitol building in Salem held earlier this year. I will be attending the rally this month then immediately afterward heading back down here. I am not involved in the planning of this rally so I cannot officially invite you to speak. However, I would encourage you to come to the event even if you are not given the opportunity to speak. I believe your presence alone will be sufficient reason for those in "leadership" positions to offer you the opportunity. You may even want to contact Ruben Eliason (sp?) one of those organizing this particular event. If you do attend or if you are invited to speak, I hope to have the opportunity to meet you in person and shake your hand. If you need a place to rest your weary head while here in Oregon, I can make arrangements to house you at any number of Patriot's homes.

I've been watching the FBP site and there seems to be a lot of infighting going on,like no one is in charge but everyone wants to be.
You know-mag loaded or not loaded or one chambered or not chambered and so on.As an Oregonian for one, I think that we need a central leader on this and that person is Mike Vanderboegh or since he is from out of state he would be a damned good adviser.

Don't be too hard on OR, the WA rally was a success but what matters is if the law is being obeyed now...and it is. Check the websites, it looks like the CA sites now.

The law enforcers were right: once the hype dies down, they'll comply...after all they are "law biding."

The enforcers and legislators should count their blessings they are dealing with 2015 Americans and not the Founding Fathers: the FF committed capital crimes to get the change to which they believed they were entitled, and did so without waiting for a 50.1% vote to approve their cause.

Modern Americans, on the other hand, seem like they can't agree on whether they should have a hot dog vendor *and* a burrito vendor, or just make protestors brown bag their lawful assembly...

Saw where Reuben Eliason wasn't aware?Says he's a go on it.Reuben say's he organized it, but it was sounding like to many Chiefs and not enough Indians.LOL.

Um, time for new leadership?

Mike I just spoke with Reuben Eliason on the event page on facebook and he said they are going to ask you to come. Maybe there has been a miscommunication? Either way I hope he gets in contact with you soon.

I just provided Ruben with your email address. Hopefully he will send an email to you today.

I'm starting to plan a rally in Coos Bay, Oregon against SB941. It won't have near the visibility as one in Salem but I refuse to back down or allow political correctness to gut our message. I fully intend to have myself and others doing private transfers in view of the public and any LEO's that are there. Luckily, our Sheriff (Craig Zanni) has already said he will not enforce this law. Anyone wanting to attend and "misbehave" along with me go here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1671364873093712/

Honesty, myself and others don't give a Rat's Ass about SB941. Most of our County Sheriffs have said they will not enforce it.

Several Recall Campaigns have been initiated.

Democrats can pass anything they want right now. And they don't give a crap about what Conservatives have to say.

We have bigger fights happening like USFS/BLM and Public Lands Transfer

Yes SB 941 is just so much BS,but will you give a rats ass when they start I.D. checks and background checks to buy ammo and the state mandates how much you can buy?Every little law they ram by begets another.
