Fast & Furious: Still unresolved

Since an outrageous proposal from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to restrict a common type of rifle ammunition backfired — and since ATF Director B. Todd Jones resigned — the agency's deputy director, experienced primarily with keeping a lid on things, has been running the show. He's Thomas Brandon, a 26-year ATF veteran who played a major role during the Obama administration's Fast and Furious damage control.

Only liars need "damage control" specialists. Truth can stand on it's own two feet..

You bet truth can stand up on its own two feet! That's why EVERYTHING done by government is supposed to be out in the open for all to see. Yes, there is one exception that proves the rule- it's fine to keep military action totally secret, on the individual mission level, until after the mission takes place...but even then, after the mission even that information should be open to public inspection.

I realize some folks reading (including the fella writing this blog) has dear friends Inside and associated with the BATFE but I have to say - the ATF pulls what it pulls, does what it does, and gets away with what it gets away with ENTIRELY BECAUSE of the people within the ATF that buy into the "secrecy is better" malarkey. So with that fact in play - how can they be good folks? Seems to be a open and plain dichotomy eh?

Gun grabbing corruption is like illegal border jumpers....for every one that gets caught there is a hundred or maybe even a thousand that walk right on through undetected. And it all goes on in plain sight.

Both the B Todd resignation, we are right back to the same old excuse - no leader in place. Yeah, THATS why the ATF is corrupt. Uh huh. Nope. Enough!!!! It's time those "good folks" blow the lid off all of it - now. Absent blowing it all wide open, it's time to admit it - they just aren't the good folks they claim to be BECAUSE they are the very reason the secrecy and the corruption CONTINUES.

There is only one way to stop the madness. Start telling the TRUTH! And Start accepting the hardest truths told....including the TRUE content of character DEMONSTRATED. What's more important guys and gals - your paycheck and pension buying your ongoing silence or your COUNTRY and the RIGHTS it was founded to defend? Hmmmmm?

A much smarter man than I wrote this. I'm at least smart enough to see the truth in it.

"Secrecy is the keystone of all tyranny. Not force, but secrecy . . . censorship. When any government, or any Church for that matter, undertakes to say to its subjects “This you may not read, this you must not see, this you are forbidden to know,” the end result is tyranny and oppression, no matter how holy the motives. Mighty little force is needed to control a man whose mind has been hoodwinked; contrariwise, no amount of force can control a free man, a man whose mind is free. No, not the rack, not fission bombs, not anything--- you can’t conquer a free man; the most you can do is kill him."
