Beware of Botach. I have done business off an on with them for the past 10 years. Everytime they screw something up. Dont takme my word for it though, simply check out the BBB complaints against them.
Has anyone had any experience with Victory M-14 magazines? This looks like a great deal, but I'd love to read some customer reviews before buying. I've had too many sketchy M-14 mags over the years. Thanks in advance! And thanks to Mike for all his good work!
I've heard plenty bad about Botach and once or twice had to hassle with them. I wouldn't order mission critical has to be here overnight stuff, .. but man they have some great deals, and I almost always have no problem. Caveat Emptor. My question is about these aftermarket magazines. Any reviews or experience with them? Without that info I'll stick with CMI mags (current gov contractor) for about twice as much. Let us know if you have these Korean mags and they work well for you, please! -Erik from Seattle
essI'm still looking for another yard sale where you can get 50 NIW G.I. mags for $1 ea. :-) I got screwed several years ago by that big magazine dealer in San Diego. Ordered 10 G.I. Winchester mags for $299, he sent me that new unknown shit with a W stamped on them, same as CDNN sells. They wouldn't even fit in the mag well or lock into place. He refused to refund my money, and I learned another good lesson about internet sales. Caveat Emptor!
I have made about three purchases from them without any problems. Although, I do have a friend that has had problems and says that "never never never" thing too.
Botach is on my list of vendors with whom I will no longer do business. My last order from them was short a $200 item that I ordered. They charged me, shipped the other items I ordered, and included the $200 item on the order pick list but never sent it or refunded what I paid. Caveat Emptor. If anything goes wrong with your order, they will not respond and will not refund your money. They also have advertised low prices (e.g. for a trijicon acog scope several years ago) but never honored orders at the "lowball" price (at least in this case they never charged my credit card). Real slimebags - avoid them. If you don't believe me - belive their BBB complaints...
I have used Korean mags before although not from this vendor, they are not usgi quality the steel is thinner. They do function but I would only use them for practice.
There's always gonna be good/bad opinions on everything and anything. If nothing else, they'd be great to barter with. I see they're 40-50+ bucks anywhere else.
Beware of many "knock off" M14 magazines.. Checkmate industries is the current USGI supplier of Mags. to the military. (mags marked CMI).
don't waste your hard earned federal reserve notes on the rather soft lipped Korean ones. 44mag.com has CMI's for I believe $27 each shipping included. I'd rather have 1 mag I can depend on rather that 2 I can't.

Best mags for the M14 type rifles are CMI.
You get what you pay for.
I made an error once...ONCE...with the Taiwanese mags...never again.
Either old stock USGI or CMI.
My mistakes...your gain.
