I don't know how much of a "shake up" (accord to FoxSpews" but when I said the breaking news banner a half hour or so ago I went to Wikistupedia to see who Lew was. It had already said the following:
"Jacob "Jack" J. Lew (born August 29, 1955) is the Director of the United States Office of Management and Budget (or OMB) a position he previously held from 1998 to 2001.[1] He is scheduled to be the 25th White House Chief of Staff."
Any way of telling when that statement was posted?
As Obama names his fourth (and hopefully last) Chief of Staff, which does not require approval of the Senate, consider the quality of his other appointments that do require Senate approval.
After just reading Ambrose Evans-Pritchard's 1997 book "The Secret Life of Bill Clinton - the unreported stories", which does favorably mention Mike Vanderboegh and his "The John Doe Times", I would not be pushing the Clinton Administration experience too strongly. The phenomena of the MSM not reporting, under-reporting or misreporting significant newsworthy events is not new to the current administration. Read the Evans-Pritchard book and have your eyes blasted wide open. The book makes the Nixon Administration appear as a bunch of nice guys in comparison.
Pray hard that the current President, Vice President, and Speaker of the House stay healthy until the end of a single term Presidency. Work hard to guarantee the singularity of the term.
Agree with Toastrider completely. Everything I have seen/heard, though I am not as well informed as some of you, makes me think Issa and Grassley are playing this perfectly with exquisite timing.

This is a big time rat.
Long tail of evil rat.
This is a well informed rat.
Any other rats better study this rats trail.
More,,,
I nominate Bill Ayers as next WH Chief of Staph
I know some folks here have excoriated Issa and Grassley for their slow pace, but I can't help but think they're playing this game deliberately slow.
Now it's going to definitely bleed into the presidential election cycle, and that won't do Emperor Zero any favors at all.
And I think the rats know it, hence the departures.

But the game is still on so we shall see.
This brings up my biggest complaint about this blog-- using the sinking ship picture when you can use the rat in the life preserver picture.
Drudge had a headline that Michelle had a dislike for this "white Irish Catholic"
"Any way of telling when that statement was posted?"
Here's the edit that added that statement on the 9th.
