He's got his, Mac, so go for that collectivist tyranny. He knows he can always bribe his way to being left alone himself.

"Bill Gates says that capitalism cannot save us from climate change."
The world’s richest man, Bill Gates, has said that the private sector is too selfish and inefficient to produce effective energy alternatives to fossil fuels.

Tough sh!t if you don't like the way it is but all this ballyhooing that "MAN" is the cause is pure BULL CR@P!! The weather was in worse shape a long time before MAN invented electricity and the internal combustion engine as well as all the Nuke stuff!!! So, take a chill pill and dig it.. The "Climate" will still be here a long time after we are gone!!

Exactly what Skybill said - and more. They probably want to tax CO2 to someday have a capitation tax on everyone (that's still alive) on the planet because we exhale CO2. Immediate effects of a world-wide carbon tax will probably usher in the death of approximately 1 billion people, mostly in third world nations. Bill Gates is one of the leading and foremost crusaders for population reduction, as he stands behind, both ideologically and financially vaccines that at least sterilize woman and at most have cancer causing heavy metals (mercury, aluminum) in them that, if you live past 50 you'll probably be a drooling idiot from the Alzheimer's. His dad once headed up Planned Parenthood and the apple didn't fall far from the tree. Between you and me, this is the kind of evil son-of-a-bitch that I'd like to punch so hard in his puny chest that drawing a breath for him would be excruciating.

When you ignore Tyranny, eventually it grows to overcome all when it accelerates beyond the speed of courage to face it...

Why does Socialism and Marxism succeed, because people are to cowardly to face it down..

Carrhae. Where a very wealthy man met his end, believing himself an expert and master of a profession he really knew nothing about.

Gates is and has always been a sociopath. That "selfish and inefficient" bit is just his projecting what he knows of himself and the kind of scum he has always surrounded himself with onto everyone else.

Computer technology lost anywhere from five to ten years' advancement that would have been were it not for Microsoft's anti-competitive monopolistic interference in the software and hardware marketplace.

The terms "Global Warming" and "Climate Change", with "Man Made" sometimes prefixed have been used with reckless abandon by the same people who want to ban other stuff they know nothing about. But to use Al Gore's phrase, there are some "inconvenient truths" they don't want to acknowledge. Just to point out a few:

1. There is a mine in the Alps that has long been used as a source for copper. Archaeologists tell us it was in use in the bronze age, was abandoned, and then used again by the Romans, was again abandoned, and is back in use today. Why the periods of inactivity? It seems the mine entrance sometimes gets covered up by the nearby glacier advancing and retreating. Get that? Sometimes glaciers advance!

2. Large deposits of dinosaur bones have lately been found in Canada's arctic. How in the world could reptiles survive up there? It seems that in those days the earth was much warmer than it is today.

3. At least one of the great extinctions in the fossil record may coincide with a period scientists refer to as "snowball earth" where the entire surface of the earth may have been frozen over.

4. Another great extinction may have been caused by massive thawing of methane hydrates on the sea bottom. Note that this occurred millions of years before there were any Republicans.

5. None of the current climate change models take into account variations in the sun's energy output or how much of that energy reaches the earth. We know that stars' outputs vary, and we know that some regions of space have more dust than others, and that over time our solar system has changed it's position in our galaxy. Yet because the scientists preaching "man made global warming" have no way to back trace these variables through time they treat them as constants.

I'm not saying the climate isn't changing. It is and has as long as the earth has existed. I'm not saying man's activities don't have some effect on those changes. The question is how much do we contribute? How does our production of greenhouse gasses compare to natural sources such as volcanoes and coal seam fires caused by lightning. And perhaps just as important, how much of the world's economy are we willing to wreck in an attempt to stop any and all climate change?

In a tyrannical socialist state, Gates and his money would be separated. There is no cure for stupid.

Bill Gates father Bill Gates Sr is a well known communist up here in the North West, rotten apples never fall far from the tree, don't ya know.

So unintentionally true. Neither capitalism, nor socialism, nor any ism can save us from an hysterical lie, like anthropomorphic climate change.

Interesting that a guy who would likely have been a manual labor prole or bureaucrat under a communist or socialist regime, but who capitalism empowered to rise to incredible wealth and influence could become so disconnected from his own history and reality.

Bill Gates is the same genius that said in 1996 that the internet would amount to nothing .

Socialism is slavery; there are serfs and lords. Does Bill Gates see himself reveling in comradeship with his fellow serfs sweating in the hot fields? Or among the betters on the shaded porch sipping mint julep?

Gates feels guilty but not guilty enough to redistribute his own wealth. Nuff said there for any THINKING person to see right through his garbage. But aside from that aspect, people need to understand the REAL goal of CO2 control. It's just big business lobby!! They want taxpayers to foot the bill to "capture" this "deadly poison" and collect it in liquid form. Then, when that I frastructure is in place -saving the planet along the way- they will suddenly come up with the epiphany that the captured carbon dioxide can be used commercially!!! Big CO2 will be as profitable or more than Big Oil. It's the same game plan.

It is about controlling the planet and her population - not saving it.
Wake up folks.
