Taking this morning to reassess.

Folks, I'll be honest. It's been a struggle lately. I am faced with some tough resource choices in my plans for Colorado and Connecticut, the black dog has returned and is perched upon my chest and I continue to struggle with my health. I'm taking the morning off (at least) to do some serious thinking about my responsibilities -- and my duties -- to you, my family and the larger struggle. Keep me in your prayers.

Travel is an extreme burden , both physically and emotionally . This blog reaches thousands of people without the travel burden.

Mike , we need you to get better.!!! You have inspired many of us here in the Unconstitutional state of Ct. I went out of my way to introduce myself to you @ West Springfield Mass. Where you spoke, in lieu of Lexington/Concord Green. Which the selectman shut down, for our safety. Day of Boston bombing. Also was at Hartford Ct. ,rally. Protesting the Intolerable Acts. Enacted by Malloy/Lawlor ,on the law- abiding gun owners of Ct. A dark day for Ct/America as a whole. Mike you are needed for the coming struggle !!! That's all I can say. We will not stand down here in Ct. Any where ,any time , any place ,bar none. These would -be- tyrants in Hartford, think the Sons of Liberty ,are a lying moldering in their graves. And that their descendants ,do not have the resolve, to stand tall. And that will be their undoing.

Mr. Vanderboegh

i think you are an exceptional human being. Many times I come to SSI and wonder how you do all that you do and keep on keepin' on with the site.

I find it difficult to do the bare minimum writing once a week, going to work and getting dinner for my husband--and I am in good health. Your tenacity has been an inspiration to me and more than that has aided in the continuing survival of our country.

The Lord is your shepherd on this one--and I am praying for you.

One man can only do so much. Do what you can but don't over do it. If that means less than what you planned then so be it.

Hang in, Dutchman. I recently adopted a little dog - mostly black as it turns out - to help keep Churchill's mutt at bay. She certainly does help my outlook. I find myself doing a lot more smiling and laughing lately. There have been studies indicating that petting a companion animal can lower blood pressure and actually improve one's health.

In any case, hang it. As one who is also dying I can both sympathize and empathize.

The most important things in life are family and health. Take as much time off as you need to take care of them. We'll be here waiting for your return as long as it takes.

Mike you have lifted the spirits of thousands and shown the way to fight back. You are in my prayers, whatever decision you decide it will be the correct one.

I think it's time for you to slow down, Mike. You've fought the good fight, you ran the marathon and did not falter, nor let your sicknesses stop your effort. You served as an inspiration and example to us all. Many of us are growing old now, and simply cannot keep the pace we once did; it's not a lack of effort or faith, it's just the nature of things. We grow old. I would just hate it if you stopped altogether, given all the knowledge you have to share with us; all the experiences that you have learned from, all the study you have invested in, should not go to waste. Perhaps you could just do a weekly post, a speech here and there, and keep us informed as to how you are doing. Spend the rest of the time with your family and your Lord, Yahovah, and keep us in your prayers, as we will you. Besides, you don't do any of us any good working yourself to death. Your priorities have to be in order; Yeshua first, then your family, then us, in that order.

God bless you my friend.

Although I'm new here, you have inspired me with your words and actions, more than you'll ever know. Because of you I am now a self-proclaimed III% for all to see.

I'm 67+ and have been beat up by life, as many have in my generation, but sooner, rather than later, you have to at least take a break, if not slow down to protect your health, sanity and family.

You, of all people Dutchman, deserve this now.

The III% are many, everywhere, peaceful and secure in knowing we are in the right - because of you and your dedication, we believe this and will live this through to whatever end comes.

May God Almighty bless you and keep you and your family.

Oh, yeah - tell the "Black Dog" to get stuffed!!

Mike, I'm not religious so I can't offer the same comfort as many of your other friends, but please know that I think nothing but good thoughts of you. You are a good man, a decent human being, a role model for the American patriot, and a voice of reason in a world going mad. Please take care of yourself first...we will get by until you get well.
