Brady Campaign lawsuits against online ammo dealers aim to cripple 2nd Amendment

At the very least, this suit is intended to lay the groundwork for making it impossible to buy ammunition online. Shoot any "oddball" calibers, that are unlikely to be found at any local shops? You're out of luck . . . and out of ammo. And that is the whole idea.

So we can start having private "tupperware" style 'ammo' parties where everybody brings their reloading press, dies and components, reloads ammo of all common calibers, then the trading starts. A reloading competency test would be required for membership.

Well being behind enemy lines in the Unconstitutional Collectivist state of Ct. I already have that problem. I am running into many dealers on 2 of the biggest gun auction sites . Refusing to sell ammo to me !!! . Frustrating to say the least. I am no newbie. Hunting license since 1972. Pistol permit since 1978. Army Cold Warrior 74-78,West Germany,11B20. Any Time, Any Where, Any Place, Bar None !!! Back in 1974 , I never realized I would be dealing with home grown Communists, Marxists, Progressives and Collectivists. From the Governor to the Mayor. Bragging we are a Collectivist/Progressive society. I am no dam citizen of the world. I am AMERICAN !!! I was born in a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC. The Tree of Liberty surely needs refreshing !!! These are times that tries mens souls !!!

Using the principles that the lawsuit purports as reasons for liability, if the plaintiff prevails, precedent would be set to sue every retail location in the country anytime anything they sells is related to an injury or death.

Home depot is now liable when someone is killed with a wrench, Dick's Sporting Goods would liable for baseball bat injuries and the local supermarket would be liable for selling the bottle of wine or six pack that "Joe" used to get drunk and cause an car accident that kills somebody.

Totally meritless and should get tossed from court. Unfortunately the businesses will have to spend money on lawyers to respond to the suits. The courts should toss the suits AND make the plaintiffs pay the defendents legal costs for the frivilous suits that waste the court's time.

Is anyone surprised that lawyers are jumping in on this? Lawyers, by nature, profit on other people's pain.

No surprise the lawyers are jumping on it at all. Remember that 99 percent of the lawyers give the rest a bad name.

The U.S. has over 80 percent of the lawyers in the world !! That might be an equally right percentage of why our government, courts and country have gotten so fucked up !!
