"'Patriots' are ready to defend their right to keep guns"

Mark Pitcavage, ADL's "militia expert."
Fear of the federal government’s interference with Second Amendment rights and suspicion that elected officials are ignoring the “will of the people” have provoked a resurgence of self-described patriots across the country who say they are preparing to defend themselves and their rights.

Clearly Mr. Pitcavage believes in the right to bear forks . I don't put much stock in the anti gun movement . They are just howling dogs at the freight train as it passes . The people have already voted with their wallets and sent billions to the small arms industry in America in the last six years.
The militia movement is alive and well . When a few Nevada cows can almost start a civil conflict in the United States you know we have gone beyond the tipping point.

Looks like another useless eater. Telling other people how to live, and what to believe in. As for me its the Founder's Republic. Just black and white, and no gray areas. I don't think this fat piggie could of made it in the Warsaw Ghetto. And certainly not as a member of that heroic uprising !!! We Will Not Stand Down!!! Behind Enemy Lines . In Unconstitutional Ct. AAA/O. 11B20.

He's damn right that some of us are ready to defend our gun rights. And some of us are ready to defend all our other rights, too.

A couple of points that I humbly but earnestly suggest that readers here spread around:

1. Recognize, first and foremost, that everyone dies. YOU, the reader of this post, will die. I will die, too. So avoidance of death should never, ever be the primary motivation behind our choices in life. "Survivalism" is a fool's game, since ultimately no one survives. Some things are worth dying for. No one should ever throw away his life prematurely, but should things come to a head, don't shrink from making your death count.

2. You can still get .30-06 AP rounds from WWII. These can be used as-is, or the bullets can be pulled and loaded into other rounds such as .300 Win Mag. Check out Packrat's site at AmmoGarand.com (I have no affiliation). There may be other sellers out there, too.

3. Since true AP rounds are getting very scarce, the freedom movement needs to start thinking hard about how to fill this void. Make no assumptions about what armor your rifle can or can't defeat, or at what distance. Many facts about armor might surprise you (e.g., 5.56 NATO M855 penetrates armor BETTER than 7.62 NATO FMJ, even though M855 sucks against many common building materials).

4. Firearms are crucial tools, but they shouldn't be our only line of defense against tyranny. We shouldn't put all our eggs in that basket. We need to consider other possible means of resistance. These may be either peaceful or violent, but in no case should they depend on the mercy of the tyrants and their thugs. (Peaceful demonstrations, for instance, can simply be mowed down by gunfire, so this method of resistance is useless.)

Just some food for thought...

The only thing Mark Pitcavage is an "expert" at is conquering all-you-can-eat at the Old Country Buffet.

I would bet it has been quite some time since Mark saw his own dick. I would also bet he is not asked to attend too many SPLC Cookouts.

Poor guy. Bless his heart.
