The South lost the War Between the States for a number of reasons. One of the chief reasons was that before hostilities began they had no domestic armaments industry to speak of. Now here we are 150 years or so later and the blue states are running theirs off as fast as they can.

During the War of Northern Aggression, the North had the distinct advantage of having most of the firearms manufacturers. Now, they're all moving to the South. Hmmmm......
