More from the perfumed princes of the Mandarin class.

Some senators, including Harry Reid, rarely go home; other senators do it constantly.
Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., maintains an impressive travel schedule, though one made possible in part by throwing money at the problem: He spent nearly a million tax dollars to have a private plane available in order to make 119 trips in three years. That put Schumer in third place in the Senate travel rankings.

Small, private airplanes have such a poor safety record. When will the law of averages catch up with Schumer? Hopefully, very soon!

One could argue that Schumer is staying in touch with his constituency, which may be a good thing. But considering that it is Chuck Schumer, he likely listens to his democrat constituents and ignores his republican constituents.
So I ask again, when will the poor safety record of private airplanes catch up with this man?

Interesting trend.
Travel cost to taxpayers goes up as a function of distance between home state and DC, except two of the most expensive ones are from nearby New York.

Didn't those very same senators blast the execs from the auto makers for going to DC in private planes?? just a question....
