So, just refuse to comply. What's complicated about that?

The Dangers of Universal Background Checks

Guns flow only one direction in my house. In. Not out. I've been known to gift a firearm to someone before, but I don't sell or trade guns. Never-the-less, ain't anybodies business that I may gift or sell a gun. Especially the government.

I believe non compliance to be the last option. No amount of voting is going to fix anything.

Apparently, my comment is too controversial for Ammoland, since they refuse to post it. So I'll leave it here, where The Dutchman has no fear of repercussions. The subject was so-called "Universal Background Checks" which don't exist universally in reality since criminals would not be participating.

This was implemented here in Kommiecticut (CT) in 2013 with the post Sandy Hook passage of the most unconstitutional, intolerable acts against firearms ever imposed on the citizens. All firearms transactions, including private ones between immediate relatives or close friends, must be "authorized" by the state, and can only be between those individuals with the proper permits. It has also been ignored by the majority of formerly law-abiding citizens (now known simply as "Peaceable Citizens") making it NULL & VOID. In Kommiecticut, every time you buy a firearm from a licensed dealer, a copy of the sale goes to the state police firearms unit, creating a registration database. It is my belief that the database is now totally out of whack, as the "underground" (read FREE) gun economy is alive and well here. We participate in The Armed Civil Disobedience of Non-Compliance, and the state has yet to do ANYTHING about it. Oh sure, a handful of criminals and stupid people have been charged when they have been caught, but the majority of people are waiting to see if the state jack-boots will ever have the guts to start kicking in doors searching for suspected unregistered scary firearms and magazines. I don't believe they ever will, because if they did try it, it wouldn't last long because the bloodshed and body count on both sides would make the endeavor intolerable.

So fight it in Virginia while you can. We were impugned and ignored here as it was rammed through the commie legislature and signed by the asswipe governor with NO public hearings or comment, using a 2 A.M. vote in the dark of night. So now we fight it with calls of "WE WILL NOT COMPLY!!!" and "ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ!"

Knowing where we've been heading these last few decades, anyone over the age of, oh, say 28, should have already purchased pretty much what's necessary in the long-gun Dept. If you haven't then you're really running behind the curve. By having the necessary stock one can always sell or "gift" a few to the younger family members. Registering anything is totally out of the question and doing so will only lead to problems concerning life and limb. Don't worry about being labeled an outlaw as that's the enemies aim anyway and no matter what you do they will be looking to label you anyway, so if you're going to be treated like an outlaw then you might as well act like one when it comes to their unconstitutional ordinances. Undocumented weapons (like the criminals use) can also be stored away in a nice quiet place like one would store gold or silver - never really touching it until TSHTF. And i don't think we'll be worrying too much about what's a legal or illegal weapon then....Fight all their legislative nonsense now while we can, but always have everything ready at a moments notice for a serious, no-holds-barred fight...

Unlike the NRA, VCDL has been very successful in fighting gun control and in getting pro-gun laws passed in Virginia. I think it would be much better to not have to "not comply", but to shove the UBC law up the asses of the anti-gunners who propose it. I would like to see Bloomberg waste many millions of $$ on a lost cause.
