Who's the "master" now?

It's been two years since CT State Police spokesman J. Paul Vance proclaimed himself "master" of the people of his state, occasioning my open letter to him. One may ask, who's the master now, Paul?
Lt. J. Paul Vance: “This was not my decision.”

"I've got a star on my car and one on my chest,
A gun on my hip and the right to arrest,
I'm the guy who's the boss on this highway,
So watch out what you're doing when you're driving my way;
If you break the law, you'll hear from me, I know -
I'm just adoin' my job, I'm the Highway Patrol."

...with apologies to Junior Brown.

Seriously, he is now in a prime position to take those evil black rifles and hi cap magazines from unsuspecting travelers. Maybe no one else would take the job?

Quote from the linked article: "The state police is a military organization "

I wonder if the people of Connecticut know that. I wonder if they like the idea of being under general Martial Law. I wonder if they understand the power of the Sheriff, and his obligation to protect the lives, liberties and property of the people who elected him, even from the State Military Power.

Hey Longbow! You caught that, too. Here, there is friction between the state patrol & the rest of law enforcement. They won't say what or why but they tell us there is.

Who's the "master" now indeed. I suspect Vance wasn't removed due to his performance. He's a model yes man mouthpiece. I suspect his skin pigment isn't "correct".

From someone who lives where the Sun sets, "stay put Mr. Vance you are not welcome anywhere west of the CT state line."

My first thought was...Uh, Oh...The CSP are about to embark on an enforcement crusade of CT Senate Bill 1160 / CT Public Act 13-3 and Vance is too much of a liability during such an action due to his previous on record comments that resisting the CT gun laws is "Un-American", along with a host of other semi-meglomaniacal comments he has made related to the issue.

It has been two years since the law was passed with a high rate of non-compliance and no enforcement. I don't see the CSP allowing much more time to pass without some sort of "making an example of people" enforcement as each day that passes without enforcement just makes the CSP look even weaker. Perhaps Governor Malloy's national political ambitions will keep the CSP at bay and the law unenforced at least through the 2016 elections.

quote"The state police is a military organization and these kinds of transfers of top officers are no that unusual. Vance is a good soldier and taking it like a trooper."unquote

Military organization?? Since when? DOH!! Since they got their MRAP's, machine guns, and all the rest of the military gear from DOD, that's when...Posse Comitatus be damned. Fuck these creeps.

Interesting quote: "The state police is a military organization..."

Wow. Just wow. Those are the reporter's words, but I wonder if the reporter thought about them, or even understands them. I'm shocked that the reporter is OK with that.

Longbow,
I spend a lot of time in CT. Sherrif's here are not in any position to put up a fuss. For purposes of the coming ensportyment you may consider CT, MA, RI and VT NH to be behind enemy lines ( I include NH simply because they are surrounded by commies and cut off). Don't get me wrong there are certainly patriots around but we are all behind the heavy blue line. I would leave the NE tomorrow if I could but I can't. I will stay here til the bitter end, I will not forsake God or my country.
