It begins to penetrate that, as an obscure blogger has been warning, the rule of law protects them from us far more than it protects us from them.

Liberals May Regret Their New Rules
"I’m not advocating violence – I am warning liberals that they are setting the conditions for violence. And that better worry them, for the coastal elites are uniquely unsuited to a world where force rules instead of law. The Serbs were, at least, a warrior people. The soft boys and girls who brought us helicopter parenting, 'trigger warnings' and coffee cups with diversity slogans are not."

The man makes a very good point, but these so-called liberals have so much self delusion unfortunately, that in the end only reality's hard slap in the face will get the point across to them

The nanny state and its proponents have never been used to backing up their words, except with more words.

We are very tired of being "despised by the despicable".

Remember also, that tyrrany rarely has any trouble recruiting thugs to do its dirty work.

Well as an obscure blogger, you were also featured on Liberty Quotes today:

"Anyone who tells you that 'It Can't Happen Here'
is whistling past the graveyard of history.
There is no 'house rule' that bars tyranny coming to America.
History is replete with republics whose people grew complacent
and descended into imperial butchery and chaos."

Maybe it's a word limit factor or something but one thing is left out. The last decade has has seen Americans arming up at what should be an alarming rate. Got 22LR? Got AR? It is the most complicated it's ever been to gain ownership of "legal" firearms yet the increase of ownership climbs more than ever.

I believe THAT is a warning in and of itself made by those who won't dare say a word -out of fear- against what's happening. I suppose one could argue that is what's meant by hope at the end of this piece BUT there comes a point where hinting isn't enough.

I know, I know. "We" have to endlessly walk on egg shells.... Proclaiming we aren't advocating violence but THAT in and of itself is one reason the pressure is rising!! That avenue blocked IS the pressure relief valve bound shut. The blockaid of the First Amendment remedy ensures the eventual implementation of Second based remedies. Hamstringing the First on our own so we don't "look bad" contributed to the problem.

If the grabbers of liberty do not back off and stop their usurpations, free people will start shooting back at them in defense of their own liberty, their freedom. We will destroy our oppressors and the tools of oppression used against us. None of us should be afraid to say it openly - we should be afraid of what happens if are too afraid to say it openly. Maybe I just nitpick in that that's pretty much what this article is saying but I think people who understand see it in this piece but those who don't won't see it....they gotta be told point blank, unambiguously, that their imposed tyranny is going to get them killed.

It also assumes that the Left hasn't already done the calculation on whether or not it can win a civil war, and, having done so, isn't actively trying to force one.

He speaks as if he's sure that like minded folks are in the majority.
That may not be true.
Actually, the majority is in the middle. This is why Indiana rolled back the legislation.

The guy offers no action ... jury nullification of unjust laws, executive orders etc.

Really, it was not that much of a blog entry at all.

"If you try to take our guns we will kill you!" -- An Obscure Blogger

Frankly, I don't see how you can make it any plainer than that yet their bleating and whining continues unabated.

An old story goes something like this:

A Mexican farmer decides he needs a little extra cash to tide things over. Normally he spends his spare time making baskets that he sells in the village market for cash to cover things he can't barter for. So he decides if he makes a few extra baskets and hits the market early to get one of the better spots he should be able to come up with the extra cash he needs.

So a week later, an hour earlier than usual, he loads the bigger than normal stack of baskets on his donkey and starts down the road for the village marketplace. Now, his donkey is wiser than he looks. He knows he carrying more than the usual weight and is up way earlier than usual so he does what donkeys do. He sits down in the road and gets the 1000 meter donkey stare.

The farmer begins pulling on the donkey's lead, pushing on the donkey's behind and raising his voice. He sees the sun begin peeking over the mountains and knows his opportunity is slipping away.

He panics and starts cursing and kicking the donkey who continues to ignore him. Meanwhile a priest has walked up and remarks, "My son, your animal wishes to please you but violence is not the way to get his cooperation. You need to reach out to him with kindness, gentleness, and respect." The farmer looks at the priest and says, "Father, I can see you know nothing about donkeys, but I am more than happy to give you a chance to show me how you would do it if there's any chance you could get him moving."

The priest looks around the roadside and finds a large tree branch. He walks in front of the donkey, whispers in the donkey's ear, pushes up the sleeves of his robe, and gives the donkey a massive whack across the top of the head. The priest whispers in the dazed donkey's ear again and the donkey stands up and starts to walk towards the village. The farmer starts to laugh. "Thank you, Father! That was most impressive. But what happened to the kindness, gentleness and respect?"

"Ah, my son. First you must get their attention!"

While it is true that most liberals don't have the connors to work their totalitarian will on us, they can always recruit enough steroid-pumped jbts to do their dirty work for them. Remember Lon Horiuchi? And think of the characters Bob Bullard, George Hammet and Wally Malvone in Matt Bracken's novels. These are who the liberal geeks will get to do their dirty work.

A very Good take on what has happened in the Balkans..People will need to learn the ROE as needed, as The time draws near for a Real Crisis of Thought...The more I talk to people The More I realize how Fed up we are with the Liberal Overseers and their JBT to disarm our Citizens..We are at a Crossroads..These People must be too Amped up to smell the Fear..Its coming and its not going to be Civil...

We respectfully disagree about the "except with more words" bit.

The Liberal Intellectual Radical Progressives (LIRPs) are just one more in a long line of self-selected elites, stretching back to the dawn of recorded history. They are no worse than the Kings, Pharos, Aristocrats, and similar vermin, but neither are they any better. And, for a self-styled cultural elite, they are unusually weak. The Aristocracy of Europe shared the LIRP belief that the Common Man (read "Peasants") exists to do what he is told by his "betters", but they controlled the military (at least to a degree) and owned most of the effective weapons. The LIRPs have alienated all but the very top layer of military, and are scantily armed as well. They seem to be depending on layers of militarized law enforcement, and (of course) their air of moral superiority. It apparently hasn't occurred to them that their Government Stooges are not particularly well trained or disciplined. If I thought that the fallout wouldn't end up killing a lot of harmless people I would almost enjoy seeing the LIRPs discover the depths of their idiocy.
