Agree, it's not a reason to be shot by a cop BUT it certainly DEFEATS the media narrative of "unarmed".
Literally EVERYTHING media reported about this has turned out to be false -

Running away - nope.
Unarmed - nope.
Gentle - nope.
Innocent. - nope.
Surrendering - nope.
The funniest thing is the Dorian Johnson gofundme page. He's raised a whole 130 bucks in two weeks.

probably meets every state's definition of attempted murder of a police officer (in the commission of his duties yada yada yada)
LEOs stopping a known violent felon does meet every state's definition of allowed-to-use-deadly-force. Even if the felon is fleeing and not a threat to the police person at that moment in time. Double standards not for civilian use, of course.
The photos destroy the liberal media narrative that Brown was a nonviolent "gentle giant.”
It would if the LSM acknowledged the pictures. Since the LSM is not interested in the truth but in conveying the leftist narrative none of this will reach the rank and file democrat voters.

Funny, we know none of these things.
That's the difference between listening to our favorite commentators and real world forensics. We know squat, only initial autopsy findings, which show no bruises or abrasions anywhere on Brown's body other than face abrasion, and several shots to arm, direction undetermined, and two shots to head, both downward trajectory. Draw your on conclusions.
Let's wait till complete forensic investigation is complete, not post hearsay nonsense.

"Everyone's account" ..who's? The cop's girlfriend? Who else? Other witness state differently. Again, what does initial forensics say?
No injury to Brown's hand. No gun shot residue. Clothing as of yet undetermined. Cop with supposed busted up eye is seen on video not nursing any wound to eye and appears dandy.
Brown's a scumbag, sure. Let's not let ideology and prejudices get in the way of the unknown facts of the shooting.
I look at this from a gun carrier's perspective. In regards to a big guy running after me who's unarmed, can I outrun him? Most of the time with heavy folk, I can. Or do we just shoot him down? There's a time for deescalation as well.
Cyborg, the old media can ignore the pics - especially the bracelet missing from Dorians wrist ( the one laying on the ground next to the police cruiser) but the grand jury can't do so.
I look forward to the old media EXPLAINING to people WHY there won't be a trial. Maybe those reporters can explain it to the rioters when they go for round two.
Before this is over we might just be seeing reporters begging to cover events in Syria - as they view it as a safer workplace....
