Southern Preposterous Lie Center strikes again, shaping the propaganda battlefield, trying to excuse future government violence against the Bundys. (And all with the help of the sociopath Ryan Payne.)

"Look out Mr. Friendly Policeman, Anti-Government-Killers-Gonna-Get-Yo-Momma!"
So, the first intimation of the latest assault against the truth by SPLC came to me from here: The Cliven Bundy Copycat Militia Movement.
Though they agree that the BLM was wise to retreat from Bundy’s bunkerville ranch rather than risk a shootout, the authors of the SPLC report condemn the inflated sense of victory the move gave Bundy supporters.
“It’s impossible to overstate the importance of the victory won in the desert today,” the head of the anti-government III Percent Patriots Mike Vanderboegh wrote on his blog after the standoff. “The feds were routed—routed. There is no word that applies. Courage is contagious, defiance is contagious, victory is contagious. Yet the war is not over.”
The quote is accurate. The wild conflation, guilt by disassociation and ludicrous exaggeration which follows it is not:
Since 2009, there have been 17 shootings involving anti-government extremists and law enforcement. . . Then, of course, there were the Millers. At the Bundy ranch, before he and his wife, Amanda, were reportedly asked to leave, Jerad Miller told a Las Vegas TV station, “I feel sorry for any federal agents that want to come in here and try to push us around, or anything like that. I really don’t want violence toward them, but if they’re gonna come bring violence to us, well, if that’s the language they want to speak, we’ll learn it.”
Less than two months later, the couple shot and killed two Las Vegas cops and another man and before dying in a shootout with police. The Millers left a “Don’t Tread on Me” flag and a swastika on the police officers’ bodies.
“Government officials need to understand what motivates this movement because the Millers will not be the last to demonstrate their anti-government rage with bullets,” the SPLC report’s authors write. “Law enforcement officials also need training on a movement that increasingly targets them.”
Note that there is no mention that I was involved in having the Millers turned away. No mention that the Bundys had no contact with the Millers. No mention that the Millers were snitches for the Las Vegas PD. But of course “law enforcement officials also need training on a movement that increasingly targets them,” implying that those of us who went to stand between the armed Feds and their intended victims, the Bundys, intend to target LEOs. And who will provide this "training"? Why the SPLC, of course, which has been paid millions of your tax dollars over the years propagandizing police of all levels to fear and hate the armed citizenry. And then there's this:
The SPLC praises Attorney General Eric Holder’s recent announcement that the Justice Department plans to revive the Domestic Terrorism Executive Committee, which was created in response to the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, and hopes it means swift prosecutions for those who aimed loaded weapons at federal officers at Bundy’s ranch—a federal offense with a maximum 20-year prison sentence.
Readers will recall my last "Open Letter to Eric Holder on the Occasion of the Reawakening of His Frankenstein Monster, the Domestic Terrorism Executive Committee." Make note for future reference that the SPLC, which had its own snitch inside the "christian" Identity compound at Elohim City, Oklahoma, at the time of the Aryan Republican Army and the Oklahoma City bombing, is pining for those "good old days."
But these are hardly all of SPLC's latest lies for money. Here is the cover report: "Bundy ranch standoff was highly coordinated, reflecting threat of larger far-right militia movement."
“The Bundy ranch standoff wasn’t a spontaneous response to Cliven Bundy’s predicament but rather a well-organized, military-type action that reflects the potential for violence from a much larger and more dangerous movement,” said Mark Potok, senior fellow in the SPLC’s Intelligence Project. “This incident may have faded from public view, but if our government doesn’t pay attention, we will be caught off guard as much as the Bureau of Land Management was that day.”
Uh, huh. You know I was asked by a reporter the other day about the fact that he observed many Three Percenters at the stand-off, and asked me if I had issued orders for them to be there. I laughed. I told him it was a spontaneous reaction to the BLM violence and that apart from crafting the ideas represented in our stated policy of "No More Free Wacos," that no further action was required from me. This was how Three Percenters acted. They didn't require marching orders.
Ah, but how does SPLC "know" that this was a premeditated action? Why because the sociopath Ryan Payne told them so:
The SPLC has found that a Montana man who leads a militia called Operation Mutual Aid scouted the locations that were used by the snipers.
Ryan Payne, a 30-year-old electrician and former soldier from Anaconda, Montana, told the SPLC that in the days before the standoff he and Bundy toured the public lands the rancher was using, looking for ways to defend them. Payne had snipers in position when the standoff came to a head.
“Not only did they take up the very best position to overwatch everything, they also had the high ground, they were fortified with concrete and pavement barriers,” Payne said. “They had great lines of fire and then, when I sent in that other team, for counter-sniper positions, [the BLM agents] were completely locked down. They had no choice but to retreat.” The reason, he boasted, was “overwhelming tactical superiority.”
Now you see, I didn't know that this whole deal was a carefully crafted plan of Ryan Payne's. I daresay that no one else, including the Bundys, did either. But that hasn't prevented Payne from bragging to SPLC about how this was all his premeditated idea and the result of his careful planning. And you can see the use that the SPLC has eagerly put to his bragging.
Here is the entire report. Once again, I get an honorable mention in SPLC's version of "Anti-Government-Killers-Gonna-Get-Yo-Momma" list of lying fund-raising justifications. That bank account of SPLC's in the Grand Caymans must be in need replenishment.
LATER: Here are some more gems from the report.
Writing on his blog hours after the standoff, Mike Vanderboegh, an aging government-hating propagandist from Alabama who heads the III Percent Patriots, characterized the standoff in grandiose terms. “It is impossible to overstate the importance of the victory won in the desert today,” he gushed. “The feds were routed — routed. There is no other word that applies. Courage is contagious, defiance is contagious, victory is contagious. Yet the war is not over.” Within weeks, that rhetoric appeared predictive as two people who had spent time on the Bundy ranch before reportedly being asked to leave went on a shooting spree in Las Vegas.
So, I'm "an aging government-hating propagandist"? And what's this "Patriots" shit? This is the same language used in the New York State Police Terrorism "Intelligence Center" report. Proof, if any were necessary, that the New York secret political police get their lies from SPLC. And get how I "predicted" the Miller's cop-killing spree?
And more detail on sociopath Payne's apparently willing interaction with SPLC:
After watching the video from his home in Anaconda, Mont., 650 miles away, Ryan Payne, 30, an electrician and former soldier who had deployed twice to the Iraq war, became enraged. Payne is part of a small militia unit, the West Mountain Rangers, but he also sits atop a little-known militia organization called Operation Mutual Aid, a group that he hoped could coordinate militias across the country to respond to federal aggressions. That night, he called Bundy and asked if he needed the militia’s help, Payne told the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) during a nearly two-hour interview at the Bundy ranch weeks after the standoff.
Nice to be able to help your enemy craft his lies about your side. If, that is, it IS your side..

Mike is the head of the III Percent Patriots? Only one place I know where it's spelled like that and I bet K is pissed the media is confusing the two groups.

Loaded guns? I didn't see any loaded guns, did you? I saw guns, but I sure couldn't see that they were loaded.

How does it feel to be right about Ryan Payne all along? I don't know the guy, I wasn't at Bundy's ranch, and i really don't have any skin in his game. But i think I can safely say NO ONE with one iota of brains would talk to, let alone give hours long interviews to the jerks at SPLC. That alone tells me things stink to high heaven with this Payne guy. Maybe he's just an ego-maniac looking for fame, but to me he's sounding a bit more nefarious; as in counter-intelligence. Funny how he says things to the wrong people that make the militia ( or any III per) look bad to an knowledgeable public. And he does it almost effortlessly...No matter what anyone says Dutchman, don't lay off this guy until it's proven that he's just a bigmouth and not working for the other side.

How is it ANY different that the BLM were pointing weapons at civilians?

It's called the natural right of self defense.

And....IF all men are truly created equal as our charter states...then these BLM bureaucrats have no more rights than the citizenry.
