And the darkness falls . . .

Darkness falls . . .

and evil rises.

Got militia?

Maybe some of those folks in Detroit would be able to explain the need for an Uzi to their brother Mayor Coleman.

"Got militia?" Wouldn't be the first time American blacks had to form one.

I really wish liberty minded folks could put their heads together to save highland park. Why...were all gonna be highland park someday. Consider it a project. We save it but the rest of Michigan can't take what we earn. Nobody deserves nothing... but greed and corruption will be dealt with swiftly. Start by issuing mossbergs and if you don't care enough to use it....then u gotta leave. I know it would never work. Back to my coffee cup

No, but if I was in Detroit, I think I'd start packing a pistole - whether it's legal or not (Detroit on CCW?) Better to be a live law-breaker than a dead law-abiding citizen.

Now brian, there are BETTER things to drop on Highland Park than Liberator 45s...

Mayor Coleman's city could get real busy real soon. If trouble gets there I hope it gets there before he can escape.

Send in Al Gore to organize a midnight basketball league. Seriously, it's happening all over the country. If you drive south on I-5 from the San Joaquin Valley up through the "Grapevine" you will notice that not only are most of the streetlights along the Interstate dark, but also the lights on the marquee signs which advise the distance to go to the exit ramps. I experienced this firsthand in March of this year. It would appear that Jerry the Jesuit's "GOLDEN STATE" has some tarnish on it.

Apocalypse Detroit.

JUst like it's happening in cities all over the nation. Detroit is just the epitome of anarchy. OWS and the sister protests are leading up to this, and Oakland is the leader.

Where is RoboCop when you need him?

Those folks in highland park might want to talk the "Algiers Point Militia" in New Orleans and find out what they did when the lights went out!

Folks up in that AO don't quite yet get the implications of the light fixture and bus driver fiasco:

1 - FBI statistics indicate over 15,000 gang members in Detroit proper.

2 - Pillagers and looters have learned in their 'collective' mind that burning down one's own area only gets them living in worse shacks because they don't get rebuilt anymore. They now target surburbia which in this case means they move North East, North, Northwest, and West, where the more affulent neighborhoods are located a mere 20 minutes or so drive from the worst parts of Detroit, give or take. Turning down river won't be as profitable as it's primarily a working-class area with lots and lots of 30-30 owning boys who also believe in 'turf'.

3 - There aren't enough police to stop a sick cat when comparing what they have available to a 15,000 member alliance focused on taking whatever they want. PS - The gangs are armed as good or better than the police and they don't have ANY ROE other than how they feel at the time. The police don't understand that only the law-abiding actually will obey police edicts during emergencies and will not lift a finger to assist the police when they're up to their asses in alligators, so to speak.

When this all comes to a head, whenever that is, the folks who've had their head stuck up their...sandbox....are going to pay a terrible price because they didn't value their families enough to form local groups to defend themselves.

The few who do prepare will have been long gone...to paraphrase a president, "Preparedness is not a suicide pact."

The comments on the second link are soul crushing. We know exactly who is causing this but very few point back to why these communities have failed, which is to say the blame falls squarely with government policies that started with LBJs great society and have been carried forward by Democrat mayors. The absolute racism in the comments shows how easily we can be divided which is just sad. I don't carry any water for the savage actions of these perps but until we can have a rational conversation about root causes, the nanny state will only continue to expand and destroy entire generations if not our civilization. Thomas Sowell has written on the fact that black families had low divorce rates on par with whites as a percentage of population right up until all of the BS 60s collectivist agenda was foisted on them. What people don't understand is that with welfare handouts nobody even bothers with marriage (much less divorce) and that Daddy 'might' show up once a month to get a cut from each of his baby Mammas' gub'mint cheese checks.

Poor baby.. what happened to the big bad union tough guys ?? ..cant handle a few street punks ?

This is union instigated, democrat supported activism and you will see it spread across the country into ever democrat party created ghetto until it spreads like a cancer.
The only solution is to make the people who started it stop it and we all know who they are.

The only up side for the residents of this area is that, in Michigan open carry of a pistol is legal and Caslte doctrine is law.
