David Frum Blames Militarization of Police on Guns in Hands of "the Policed"

"All for demilitarizing police. But remember, cops police a country in [which] more than 2 [million] AR-15s may be pointed at them."
Right. And I hope they damn well don't forget that little fact.

If the cops are simply policing, then why would they mind the Citizenry owning 100 million rifles? They aren't doing anything wrong, right? Then what do they have to worry about?

I love it when indoctrination come full circle. Time for Frum to realize his error. We the People ALLOW the "police" to go armed while we each hold the inalienable right to 1) keep and bear arms AS WE CHOOSE and 2) hold due authority to limit ALL government to one revolver with a bullet only allowed in their pocket - and they must ask permission to chamber that one round.

You see, Peckerwood Frum, PEOPLE are the ultimate authority OVER government, not the other way around as you see it. Yes, we delegate authorities and policing is one area we do so willingly HOWEVER we do not and cannot delegate away inalienable rights get a clue Frum, people exercising their RIGHTS isn't WRONG.

This is the same clown who came up with the "axis of evil" line and pushed hard for the Iraq War. Why does anyone take a single thing he ever says seriously?

Blaming private gun ownership for police militarization belies the tyrants' mindset... that the government is the master over the people and that government must have supremacy of coercive force over the people. The recent unrest in Ferguson illustrates this as well; you may protest as much as you like but the powers that be get bent when you use violence to resist their police state thuggery. They would have people believe that citizens have no right, but this is a lie.

I believe the shooting of that criminal punk in Ferguson was lawful and necessary, but the police response to the ensuing protest is the epitome of 'waco rules' and what you get when you cultivate a warrior mindset in cops and then equip them for war... then telling them that the citizenry is their enemy!

This simply proves the perpetual need for citizen militias in modern America!
