Harry Reid’s Court-Packing Scheme Pays Off

(B)ecause the current administration recognized this court as critical in future legal challenges to Obamacare, they wanted to – and hypocritically did – shift the balance of the court in a decidedly Progressive way – which is to say in a way which recognizes almost no limits on government power nor on the appropriate behavior of judges in expanding that power. On Thursday, those malign efforts paid off for Obama and Reid.

Anonymous said...: Just more so-called progress towards reducing us "under absolute Despotism". They do not understand the forces with which they are playing.

What I am unable to understand is why they expect to be able to ignore the explicit law of the land while the rest of us meekly submit to whatever outrage they can devise THIS week. Do they truly believe that they are the only ones bold enough to break the law in pursuit of their ideals?

I fully understand the principle that nothing is illegal until/unless you are successfully prosecuted. Do they not understand the principle that sauce for the goose is also sauce for the gander?

This is no small thing, to restore a republic after it has fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may be that our task is impossible.
