We certainly inhabit two different countries. Gold Star mom: 'This guy was worth my son's life?' Also, looking forward to Jane Fonda's grave being declared an EPA Superfund site.

“It gets really hurtful when I think, this guy was worth my son’s life? My son who was patriotic? Who was a true soldier? Who defended his country with his life?” Andrews told Army Times via phone on Monday. “That guy was worth that? I don’t think so.”

Vietnam veterans in California are furious all over again with Jane Fonda, after the actress was chosen to speak this month at a UCLA graduation ceremony. Fonda, who in 1972 traveled to Hanoi, Vietnam, to meet with enemy soldiers and called American soldiers "war criminals," has been picked to be the graduation speaker at UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television’s commencement ceremony on June 13.
The reader who forwarded the Fonda link comments:
When her 100-years-of-youthful-good-looks contract finally comes due, and Old Scratch arrives to collect her immortal soul as the agreed upon payment, there will still be one final detail remaining.... They're going to HAVE to bury the "actress" in an unmarked grave. Otherwise, millions of gallons of steaming veteran's urine will so permeate the sod that the EPA will be forced to declare her grave as a permanent hazmat site. Sorry, Jane. No lasting fame for you. NONE. Ironic, huh ?

My WWII Navy Lt dad despised the air that this "traitorous bitch" breathed. He kept a photo of her sitting on the enemy anti-aircraft gun seat, just so he would never forget what treason really looked like.

He has been dead for 8 yrs and sadly will not be here to see her ending. He really wanted to see her mutilated carcass hung from a gas station canopy......like Mussolini's was in Italy in 1944.

Still "Not Fonda Hanoi Jane".

Pissing on her grave seems too little and much too late given my feelings of her, but I'd certainly stand in line to do just that.

I can see it now, a special ceremony! Six Vets, standing three to a side over her grave, emptying their bladders in unison to a drumbeat for traitors.

If it is to be done, do it right!

I expect, some day, to stand in a very long line patiently waiting to piss on her grave.

I would drive a thousand miles to piss on her grave.

Re pi$$ing on 'her' grave - I can see two scenarios: an extremely LONG line of willing contributors, or a whole bunch of barry's civilian security force establishing a very large cordon sanitaire around the gravesite. I'm hoping for the first..... but I don't think she is worth driving 1000 miles for.

I will wait patiently in the queue and wade through the caustic stream of run-off to add my fondest farewell via my bladder.

Following the related stories links I discovered something WORSE (if that is even possible) than Bergdahl possibly (probably?) being a deserter and a traitor. Apparently Dear Leader's people didn't just release any old 5 taliban. NO!!! The 5 they released were SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED by the current taliban leaders. That would lead one to believe that those 5 guys were VERY SPECIAL?VALUABLE to the taliban. How's THAT for a sweetheart deal?

Well, with all these gents waiting to water the soil, somebody needs to fertilize it; I'll volunteer. To add a bit of irony, I'll dine on some Vietnamese or Thai cuisine before I drop the deuce.

And let's not forget who she was married to! Ted Turner, the humanity hating elitist who feels that all of us are using up HIS air and resources. I can't stand up to do no.1 like you gents, but bury those two together and i'll squat in public just to get the chance to water their graves...

That's typical for those sort of exchanges. The captors demand a certain set of guys, or a certain number of guys. Look at the Israeli exchange to get Galid Shalit back, for example.
