Just take a good look at what is happening in Iraq today. The fighters only number about 10,000 and are having absolutely no trouble taking over the entire country because they are armed and have the will to fight. A conflict here will bring out millions of fighters. Armed and for the most part well trained. There is just plain no way to fight against that sort of force.
An unarmed militia? WTF is the point??? Oh wait, she's armed with the words that come out of her mouth... right, 'cause that'll work. I've never heard her speak, but I'm picturing quivering jowls, framed in a beet red face, with bulging eyes perched too closely over a rattle trap trying desperately to spew intelligence, all the while seeming only to match the cadence of an MG-42 in Hitler's front line.
Sadly, she is afflicted with the disease that is going around these days... Symptoms include the "my opinion is the only thing that matters" and if you disagree, they get agitated and start calling the other person derogatory names and try to bully the opposition into dropping their position.
I don't have to convince that half-wit bint (that's a term of opprobrium but not obscene) about anything. I don't require her approval or permission (or that of the likes of her) for anything, and I don't care what she and her ilk think about guns or anything else.
