What was that about the tea party being dead? Now this is what John Ringo called "a goodness thing." Of course it will just free Cantor up to sell out even more while he's still in office.

Too bad they didn't knock off Boehner in his primary. House Majority Leader Cantor defeated in primary.
In an upset for the ages, Majority Leader Eric Cantor of Virginia, the second-most powerful man in the House, was dethroned Tuesday by a little-known, tea party-backed Republican primary challenger carried to victory on a wave of public anger over calls for looser immigration laws.

And this: GOP Leadership in 'Chaos' After Eric Cantor's Loss. "We're absolutely stunned."
And this: Cantor Loss Could Spark Revolution in House GOP
"It should frighten everyone in leadership," one conservative House Republican, who exchanged text messages on condition of anonymity, said shortly after Cantor's defeat was official. "They haven't been conservative enough. We've told them that for 3 years. They wouldn't listen." The GOP lawmaker added: "Maybe they will listen now."

While it is a feel-good Tea Party victory over RINO's, what is to stop the lame duck Cantor, and other's who become lame ducks between now and November, from passing legislation that will not only legalize 100 million more Democrats, but also forces Australian-type gun control on this land?

You all know the answer.

How about this for humor? His campaign manager is a 23 year old who regularly links to lewrockwell.com, a self described Austrian, and is a big fan of Ron Paul. The irony here is cantor stopped an audit the fed bill from getting a vote for years. Hilarious!

It is also funny because the GOP elite thought they were finished with having to deal with Ron Paul being a thorn in their side. They did not realize that all the vote fraud in thr primaries and the lies and way they treated him only pissed off millions of dedicated and smart young activists. This is just the beginning of the headaches!

On a side note, I saw several screenshots where the campaign manager for Brat was defending gun rights. The goa also endorsed Brat, unlike the weasels at the NRA.

What these politicians love more than the lives of their children is to be re-elected . The polling showed that Cantor would win 68 to 28 . That has all changed overnight.

Yeh. I'd describe them, establishment house republicans, as "clueless". That means they are likely clueless about what the liberals are up to also. That's dangerous.

Long Live the Tea Party attitude!

The republican leadership is not clueless. They are evil, conniving, vindictive, untrustworthy, traitors. Many of whom are wholly owned by the democrat/progressive/Marxists and do their biding to avoid the release of information that is being withheld from the public, to ensure their cooperation. Which kinda gives you a snapshot of the other side.

Straight out of the commie playbook, like so many other things these days.

that's exactly right! I've said that for decades that Dems/Reps are two sides of the same globalist coin. Democans or Republicrats. Either way, they're both traveling into a collectivist future, albeit the Republicans at a slightly slower pace....This shows a lot of People have finally woken up to this scam and realize that "the lesser of to evils" is still evil...

Killing the Tea Party is trying to kill the We The People. It's like punching water: your hand goes in and we're displaced, but as soon as you pull your hand back, we go back just like we were. Trying to kill the Tea Party is like trying to kill the spirit of the REAL America.

When we extend our hand, it is to clasp another hand in a firm, heartfelt handshake. Elsewhere, the hand is extended palm-up, expecting something just for being an American.

Oooooh-rah!

One of the little things not getting aired, is how Cantor had the blessing of the Lairds of Fairfax, while Brat had the backing of GOA and the Virginia Citizens Defense League. Robocalls went out and gunnies who had Cantor signs up because of the NRA backing, took them down and put up Brat signs.
Another politician also snubbed the VCDL while running for governor with the NRA's blessing. Like Cantor, instead of having several thousand, very active people working for him, he got them working against him. Both assholes went down in flames.
The anti-gunners in Virginia's government cringe when they hear those four letters: VCDL.

Sorry to rain on the parade, but it wasn't the Tea Party.

Cantor simply forgot his roots, the 7th district of Virginia and the common man.

That's what got him ousted.

Though I have lost much faith in our electoral process, this gives me a glimmer of hope. Seeing a duplicitous, establishment RINO get his butt handed to him after outspending his opponent forty to one? Priceless.

The more I come to view myself as a Three Percenter, the more I see the Democrats playing the part of King George III and establishment Republicans as the Loyalists. I think our chances are not good.

Granted, 240 years ago, the smart money was on the British.
