"Going nowhere fast." Dana Milbank makes the mistake of reading his own newspaper for facts on the Gunwalker Scandal.

Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer reads Dana Milbank's column in Pravda-on-the-Potomac with satisfaction. "Now that's the kind of party-line analysis I'm looking for. Good thing the schmuck doesn't read Sipsey Street."

Dana Milbank predicts: "The Republicans may be furious, but this political scandal is going nowhere — fast."

Milbank, normally a more astute observer of reality, ought to wait for the 8 December hearing of the Issa committee. The Senate committee GOPers were mostly missing in action on the Gunwalker scandal topic (especially the two perfumed princes of the Mandarin class, Orrin Hatch and Lindsey Graham). Senators Grassley and Cornyn were involved in getting Holder on the record under oath with positions that can be fully discredited in the House hearing to come. See "All Perjury Is Local" below. ("It was not a national operation.")

Milbank has obviously made the mistake of reading his own newspaper for the facts of the case, and Pravda-on-the-Potomac has hardly been a leader on this story or strayed from the cover-up meme of the White House.

Either that or Darth Breuer has been sending him tins of caviar, too.

Caviar and Pravda. It seem unavoidable, running into all these Soviet themes. Everything leads us to the Marxists. Every hole we uncover, we see them scurrying about, while their media friends try to tell us that we didn't see, what we just saw.

By "it was not a national operation" he meant it wasn't ongoing in all 57 states.
