For Sale: History of 89th Infantry Division in World War II and last of the M1/M2 Carbine "hardback" 30-round magazines with "sterile" CIDG pouch.

First Edition, The 89th Infantry Division, 1942 - 1945. $40.00 plus $8.00 shipping.

Also, you may remember this post where I was selling new to excellent 30-round "hardback" carbine mags for $80.00 each. Between the response to the post and the gunshow this weekend I sold most of the twelve I originally offered. Found a few more and now have seven left.

Six of them fit in this 1963-1964 vintage Special Forces CIDG magazine pouch:

Pouches of this type are sometimes referred to as "CIA" or "Bay of Pigs" pouches but they were procured by the U.S. Special Forces' CISO (Counterinsurgency Support Office), made during the Vietnam war on Okinawa, Japan, for the South Vietnamese CIDG (Civilian Irregular Defense Groups). Deliberately designed to be multi-use, they accommodate M3 / M3A1 Grease Gun, M1A1 Thompson, Sten, IMI made Uzi, Carl Gustav M45 and M2 Carbine 30 rd magazines.

Back of a CIDG pouch showing the cleaning rod compartment and angled shoulder strap attachment.

These pouches come in a few different styles (principal differences being the pouch fasteners) and were deliberately made "sterile" with no markings at all. The shoulder straps are short, so as to conform to the smaller frames of Montagnard tribesmen.

Water Pump Special Price: 7 Hardback "Neverjam" magazines and the CISO pouch for $400.00, plus $10.00 shipping.

If you want to commit to buying one of these items, please contact me at GeorgeMason1776@aol.com. First come, first served. Then send amount in cash or USPS PMO please to:
