Ahh, Yes! Wickard v. Filburn! Along with Dred Scott certainly one SCOTUS's truly shining moments. Probably also on the wish list of any decent Federal judge's "do overs".

Robyn Driscoll, a Democrat who got a grade of F from Mr. Marbut's political-action committee, called the bill "absolutely appalling," saying legislators "would not support funding for education or women's clinics or anything like that, but they'll pass this blatantly unconstitutional bill and pay for the Supreme Court fight."
May I speculate that Billings is to Montana as Portland is to Oregon? A great place to get coffee, visit the Red Star Bookstore, and volunteer at the State-Sponsored Abortion Clinic? Rep. Driscoll likely has many True Believers and Fellow Travelers among her constituency of Useful Idiots. See Biography above.
