With one or both of the Japanese reactors going into meltdown, you might want to save these links.

1. 3 minute updated radiation map - entire USA

http://www.radiationnetwork.com/RadiationNetwork.htm

2. Live jetstream west to east moving airflow map

A tip of the boonie hat to Irregular FG for the links.

Good point. Thanks.

And, BTW, dammit. There goes any hope of getting the FedGov to allow nuke construction here.

And, on another note, the radiation map doesn't have the entire US on it...

Either that, or someone seceded and I didn't get the memo...

Prayers for the folk near the thing

Prayers for most of the stuff to get rained out before it crosses the Pacific.

Watch out for attention being diverted away from gunwalker

and watch out for pre existing contamination being blamed on Japan.

Get your potassium iodate ordered ASAP. The entire supply in the US is likely to be sold out in 24 to 72 hours. Possibly sometime Sunday if the news about Fukushima 1 and 3 (or the four other reactors with coolant failures) keeps getting worse. I don't trust any government - the Japanese one or ours -- to tell the truth.
