Codrea: "CCRKBA asks Obama for invitation to gun summit that NRA rejected ."

Here.

Demonstrating that the “gun lobby” is not the monolith the media often portrays it to be, Alan Gottlieb of the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms announced his organization “would be eager to talk with the White House, especially about the ‘Project Gunrunner’ and ‘Fast and Furious’ scandals, where federal agents helped facilitate gun sales to suspected gunrunners.”

My message to : http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact

There are two more individuals who actually are entitled and should be invited to participate in your proposed group discussions on US gun laws; those being: David Codrea and Mike Vanderboegh. These two gentlemen were the driving force behind the outing of ATF’s Gunwalker practices. They are the men who were trusted enough by the ATF bureau’s whistle blowers to contact them to get the ball rolling to begin with. These two patriots are also spokespersons for those of us who believe that the Second Amendment means exactly what it says and that it is as applicable today as it was when first ratified. It would do well for you and your cabinet members to listen and pay attention to what they have to say.

Respectfully submitted,
Woody W Woodward [W3]

THe White House will make doubly sure than no one advocating seriously the 2nd Amendment will be allowed or invited to participate. This is a dog-and-pony show that Obama wants to parade in front of the American people as a sign he wants to be fair to everyone.

Ain't gonna happen. All we will hear is that the NRA refused Obama's sincere invite, and so showed the U.S. public that us "gun nuts" are not interested in an honest dialog. And if you think that DAvid and Mike will get a nod, forget it! The prez ain't gonna have tea with no militia mob.

TPaine--maybe not. Any idea how many people would have given the chances of me and Mike breaking this story this far to nothing? So perhaps we should have just not done anything because the conventional wisdom from the naysayers is there's no chance.

I wish all you folks who can't wait to tell us what can't be done would spend just a bit of energy trying to help us do it. What do you have to lose by following WWW's leadership example, contacting the WH and challenging them to admit us? If they won't, that can be a useful piece of information that may help us in ways we cannot yet foresee.

Can you imagine being in a foxhole and having the guy next to you telling you you can't win so you might as well surrender?

When you sit down to negotiate how many of your rights the other side is going to take away, you've already lost.

I'm glad that 'Negotiating Rights Away' isn't participating this time.
