Like the net isn't already full of professional trolls? The UK Telegraph's blogs are crawling with the buggers.

Philip K Dick, saw this coming decades ago with Buster Friendly's 24/7 talk show in "Do androids dream of electric sheep?"

(IMHO the book is much better than "Blade Runner" the film)

You think Buster might be a 'droid?

That's funny, I thought they already did that.

Who decides what constitutes "pro-American" propaganda?

"Danger Will Smith! No real person here."

Being under watch 24/7 may be the end of the internet, but then again, the proles could care less anyway.

It's getting to where we might as well just unplug the computer and go back to reading books. I don't miss my TV at all anymore.

These AI's were being tested on forums such as godlikeproductions years ago. The timestamp difference between comments and posted responses (that consisted of several long paragraphs), was mere seconds - indicating typing skills of around 1,000 words per minute or more. You'd think they would've at least tried to cover that telltale sign by waiting a few minutes or so.

I don't know about the military's playing with AI software but I do Los Alamos National Labs is. On a site I worked admin on a couple of years ago, my team slammed head on with LANL's program, Project Angela.

JRM is correct, long responses, anomalies and huge pushing of the healthcare tipped us off.
