It is such a simple thing to check a weapon's chamber and should be done anytime a weapon changes hands, by both parties. But I recall from some past gun shows I've attended the vendor rarely picks up the firearm, checks the chamber and then hands you the firearm for you to examine. However, at most gun shows I attend in my neck of the woods a zip-tie is used as a makeshift "chamber flag" on all firearms there assuring an open chamber.

We need an ATF investigation to say...keep your booger hook off the bang switch?
Maybe there should be an investigation to see if ATF agents are loading guns at gun shows...
