"Don't Cry for Me Argentina" is the best-known song from the 1978 musical Evita with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice. Sung by the title character Eva Perón, it was titled “It's Only Your Lover Returning” before Rice settled on the eventual name. It appears early in the second act as Evita addresses the crowd from the balcony of the Casa Rosada and features a sweeping melody tied to broad emotional themes of regret and defiance, characteristic of Lloyd Webber’s most popular songs. -- Wikipedia.
The Trib cries in frustration:
The president — any president — should be able to fill top administrative posts with people of his choosing. The head of ATF is a key law enforcement position. It's particularly critical now, as the U.S. grapples with weapons smuggling from this country to Mexico. As Tribune Newspapers reported Friday, ATF ran a weapons-tracking operation that went terribly awry, allowing hundreds of firearms into Mexico that were later used in crimes.
ATF needs leadership that has the full support of government leaders. Yet the U.S. Senate hasn't approved an ATF chief in the five years that the position has been subject to confirmation. President George W. Bush couldn't get a Senate vote for his choice to run ATF, U.S. Attorney Michael Sullivan, because the gun lobby blocked it. Louisiana Sen. David Vitter, who put a hold on Sullivan's appointment, complained that Sullivan wouldn't commit to going easier on gun dealers.
Enough. Obama has made a sound choice to lead ATF. The Senate should confirm him.
Hey, Trib, don't blame us. We are EAGER for hearings, any hearings, where we can get some lying ATF senior management like Traver under oath about the ATF's many scandals. You need to take up your complaint with Democrat Senate bull Patrick Leahy. He's the one who pulled the confirmation hearing from the schedule.
Until then, Traver should be singing his own version of "Don't cry for me Argentina."

How about this: the ATF needs leadership that has the full support of the American people.
We, the rulers, still decide through our proxies the elected servants.
