Well, isn't this special?

"For the very first time, the U.S. Air Force has validated a unit's wartime capability to defend the homeland by fighting an enemy right here on U.S. soil."

And what enemy would that be, exactly?

So I guess if the AF transports troops & equip, they might be able to protect the airfield?

I'm thinking southern border, but .. sad to say, other actions are possible.

The words 'unconventional foe' jump out at me.

The gov't is using more and more NG units to get the public used to seeing them(crimefighters). Then when martial law is imposed, no one will question their appearence(crimefighters).
Saw 3 NG SNCO's in their ACU's at a gunstore yesterday in Riverton, WY. Whatever happened to dress uniforms? When I was in the USMC 35+ yrs ago, it was a $50 fine for going to town in your work clothes. Now we don't need a dress uniform because cammies are the cat's meow, or just getting us used to seeing it on the streets, eh?

"The ORI scenario that played out in Mississippi required more than 300 Kentucky Air Guard members to establish operations in concert with about 175 Airmen from the Texas and Florida units, forming the notional 104th Air Expeditionary Wing.

All three organizations worked seamlessly to launch theater airlift and medical evacuation sorties across the Gulf Coast region, supporting U.S. Northern Command missions and civil authorities, while foiling multiple attacks by well-organized terrorists."

I wonder what highly-limiting rules the "irregular opfor" were allowed to operate under? Were the OpFor sufficiently motivated and equipped? Obviously not, if the mission went off without a hitch! It's amazing how we never hear about a disasterously-failed ORI...

Cheers.

For the first time, the government strategy document, which lays down a doctrine for national security policy, is likely to focus attention on the threat posed by homegrown, radical extremists.

"The president's strategy is absolutely clear about the threat we face. Our enemy is not terrorism because terrorism is but a tactic.

"Our enemy is not terror because terror is a state of mind and, as Americans, we refuse to live in fear.

"Nor do we describe our enemy as jihadists or Islamists because jihad is holy struggle, a legitimate tenet of Islam meaning to purify oneself or one's community."

Well then ... who could it be? (Says I).

Unlike traditional ORIs, in this one the participants were tasked with supporting civil authorities while fighting an unconventional foe in the United States.

Normally a violation of comitus posse, but with the ongoing state of emergency....

""If an attack on the homeland happens, we will be the first responders." I see. I just watched Hannity show videos of armed drug runners 80 miles inside our borders, and the guy who set up some of the cameras says this happens 24/7.

Got news for the good colonel - an attack on the homeland has been hapening for years, and our own DHS denies it. But if they ever have to control U.S. citizens...well...they'll be ready, won't they?

I wonder who they intend to fight? All those Islamic training camps that have been operating openly these last few years? Or Joe Sixpack who just woke up and found himself living under tyranny? Hmmm

I am a Christian, American Patriot.
I welcome all Patriots within my circle. I care not whom your god is. For such is your unalienable right as an American to worship as your conscience dictates. I care not about your personal living practices or lifestyle preference. That too is your choice, your right under heaven as an American. I care not about your race or origin. Didn't the Creator make us that which we are and equal? I am a Christian, American Patriot. I welcome all Patriots within my circle.

Being a III% on the inside and knowing the AF like I do, after the first major hit, the perimeter would fold like a circus tent. If the scat hits the cooling device, I'll be in touch.

It will be amusing to hear the flyboys explain "collateral damage" of American people ... to the American people.

And then it dawned on me!

Lessons learned: If they are dead, they are dead terrorists.

Of course, blow-back is a bitch.

Qui Bono...thank you for your welcome comment. Our faith does not determine the intensity, or the purity, of our patriotism, and too often, folks tend to forget that our Constitution gives us the freedom to practice any religion, or the freedom to follow none. We all share the desire to keep our Constitution the law of the land.

Everyone should read (at least twice) Foreign Enemies and Traitors by Matthew Bracken. It is chilling and possibly prophetic.

Just one question:

What was the purpose for the existence of the United States Air Force prior to 16-23 May 2010? Hmmmm!

Anyone still have questions about the importance of the O-Ks?

Further, though I was among those who berated them for cutting out of the RTC Rally, the more I've considered it the more I've come 'round to agreeing with the spirit of their "explanation."

Though I'd like to see *EVERY* Constitution-loving Patriot join in raising a rousing one-fingered salute to leviathan, some of us have to temper our zeal to reach those who lack the education which has brought us to our views.

If the DOD out-right bans O-Ks, it would be a rather serious blow to the Patriot/Constitutional Restoration movement as a whole.

I'd much rather kiss a little @$$, even bend over a few times if that's what it takes to have a majority of our .mil stand down if - God Forbid - the black-flag ever goes up.

We all have roles to play - our vocal in-your-face positions are important and valuable to the cause, but so are the more subtle, less politically-incorrect positions taken by O-Ks and others.

When some soldier takes the time to check out O-Ks for themselves, they find that the lap-dog-media and (ESPECIALLY!!) potok and the splc are lying bastards. This makes them wonder what OTHER lies they've been fed, and opens their mind to join the right side.

If O-Ks weren't so image-conscious, their utility would be hampered if not eliminated.

Much as it pains me to say it, they were right. We NEED them. I'd rather accept any possible indignity than have to shoot fellow citizens - ESPECIALLY those who have volunteered to stand between my family and the true evils in the world...

I look at it like this, if Oath Keepers can cause some folks in uniform to stand down upon being issued unconstitutional orders, in effect reducing the forces arrayed against us without firing a shot, I can concentrate my efforts on more deserving targets.

Sun Tzu would, surely, agree.

Four O'Clock in the morning as I write this; just a thought before I go to bed. In a previous post, I refered to myself as a Christian, American Patriot. I'll turn 60 later this year.. If you had told me 30 or 35 years ago that the words "Christian" and "Patriot" would be demonized and spat upon as if such people were comparable to murderers, rapists, pedophiles, etc......I would have slapped you on the back and paid for your next drink.
This is an evil time in America...."something wicked this way comes". God Bless you, your families and the remnant of that dream.....America.

Being right does not mean you have to kiss arse, or bend over and "take it" for the sake of the truth.

Have some dignity, self respect ... and most of all ... PRINCIPLES.

Come on, Oath Keepers. If a sizable percentage of them don't do what they have publicly sworn to do then any revolution will be, in Hobbes' immortal words nasty, brutish, and short.
