Straight from the Boneless Chicken Ranch. NRA's "Lairds of Fairfax" endorse "Gunshow Loophole" McCain in PRIMARY where there is a better alternative.

NRA web apologist General Sebastian Snowflake strikes a pose at Valley Forge.

Principled bastards, ain't they?

GOA, of course, has endorsed his opponent.

Be interesting to see how General Sebastian Snowflake, commander of the Prag Army, excuses this.

NRA endorses McCain in Arizona Republican primary

By JONATHAN J. COOPER (AP) – 10 hours ago

PHOENIX — The National Rifle Association endorsed John McCain Thursday in Arizona's Republican Senate primary.

The endorsement was a significant boost for McCain, providing high-profile support for his conservative credentials as he tries to shake a primary challenge by former U.S. Rep. J.D. Hayworth.

Hayworth has attacked McCain's record on gun rights, saying the four-term Senator has supported restrictive legislation.

Hayworth touts an endorsement from Gun Owners of America, a smaller gun-rights lobbying group.

The NRA endorsed McCain in three of his four previous runs for the U.S. Senate, but it stayed out of his race in 2004 against a little-known Democrat.

The organization endorsed Hayworth in at least six of his seven U.S. House races.

I wish I could say I can't believe it, but that would be untrue.

The NRA, the oldest gun control organization in America today.

The NRA wrote the National Firearms Act of 1934 AND the NRA wrote the Gun Control Act of 1968, acting for their brick and mortar gun store membership.

I'm a life member, so contribute nothing to them now, but I'll never forget who founded the NRA.

A number of Yankee Union Army officers who rightly thought that the Union Army soldier was a pathetic shadow of the Confederate soldier.

The acorn never falls far from the tree.

It´s time McStain went ahead and retired. He has lost touch with the American people and our values. He was and still is a supporter of the Patriot Act which is now being used as a Anti-Patriot Law.He has supported ¨REASONABLE?¨
gun control legislation. It´s time to say good-by,adios,sayonara.

Remember, the NRA is a one-issue, one-trick pony of an organization. Which is ok. They've been doing this for a long time, and have become very good at it. The ONLY thing they look at is the candidate's stance on 2A. Nothing else. This is why they support Sen (D) Dingy Harry Reid (ptoo! ptoo!).

This is also why, even thought I'm an NRA member, I no longer contribute to their PAF. I look at a candidate as a whole, and if I like that candidate I will contribute to him/her directly.

I wish the NRA would broaden their vision and be more selective in their political candidates.

The NRA has become nothing but a shrill for leftists. As an NRA life member....I'm disgusted with them.

Witness Wayne LaPierre's sucking up to Harry Reid in the latest NRA publications.

The NRA is nothing but a sellout to those of us who believe in individual liberty and the Constitution of the United States.
