Obama "amused" by Tea Parties

He's laughing now, sure enough.

I wonder. Will he still be amused when his over-reaching causes him to be swept into the dustbin of history?

Obama broke this promise barely two weeks into his presidency by signing a bill that included a 156-percent increase in the federal cigarette tax, which not only hits the nonwealthy but is one of the most regressive taxes around. By ATR’s count, the health care bill Obama signed last month includes another seven tax hikes that affect the under-$250,000-a-year crowd. In fact, since four of these changes will increase people’s income tax bills, they violate even the edited version of Obama’s pledge that he presented on Saturday.

Obama's tax cuts last year cost me $2400. Whoopee! Without any fanfare, my company decided that I needed those cuts, and hence stopped withholding fed taxes from my paycheck.

My bad that I never watched my check stubs until about the 6th check without a deduction. When I went to HR to inquire, I was told that Obama had graciously allowed me to keep all of my hard-earned pay. Without my permission, of course.

That was great until my taxes were due. I did the "math" in January, and found out I owed my rich uncle over $2K.

If we don't stop cap & trade, we'll be taxed out of existence. Obama is the devil, and you can take THAT to the bank.

Obama is extremely disliked in many areas.

Guy gets elected by 53% of those who bothered to vote, mostly because so many Americans were fed up with the Republicans. So that slim win suddenly becomes an "overwhelming mandate" for every radical policy change the left has been sitting on for years. And the joker either doesn't have a clue or he's so arrogant that the clear message of literally thousands of citizens taking to the streets just bounces off his shell of self delusion. Well, November of this year should be a wakeup call, and 2012 most certainly will. Just be careful though. At some point it's all going to sink in and that's when it really gets ugly. When his grand scheme is crashing down around those ears of his is when he'll get all hurt and vindictive and be looking for a way to get even with all us ungrateful peasants.

No...above all, I think, he does _not_ want to be swept int the dustbin of history. I think _that_ possibility would make him _very_ angry!!

'course at this point, I think he's going to make the history books - one way or the other. I just think it may not be as the hero he thinks himself to be...

The absolute height of arrogance. I was even shocked. It is all a big joke to him I guess....it doesn't seem very presidential to get up and make fun of over half the population. Perhaps there is another hidden or alternate reason for stirring up the masses every chance he gets .... what on Earth could that be???

The man can't help it. He is a narcissistic sociopath who thinks he can charm his way out of anything, kind of like Ted Bundy.

A friend of mine made a very interesting point about our Illustrious Dear Leader.

He loves the perks, but he doesn't seem to like the hard decisions so much.

Team Obama can't be happy about things. His polls are tipping downward as inexorably as plate tectonics. His done-deal health care expended far more political capital than he expected, and isn't being accepted except by the truly stupid.

Watch for a push for a fast-track amnesty. The Democrats are going to need votes badly (why do I hear the announcer from the old Gauntlet video game? 'Blue Jackass Needs Votes Badly!'). If they get pushed out of even one house of Congress, things will get immeasurably more interesting. Both houses? Obama becomes a lame duck president for the rest of his term.

Oh, yeah. "At 7:06 a.m. local time on January 24, 1989, he was strapped into "Old Sparky", the electric chair at Florida State Prison in Starke, Florida. His last words were, "I'd like you to give my love to my family and friends."

Two thousand volts then coursed through his body for less than two minutes. He was pronounced dead at 7:16 a.m.; at the confirmation of his execution, several hundred people gathered outside the prison cheered."
