Everyone who is capable of thought knows that the tie-in between the OKC bombing and the gun rights demonstrations is an absolute fabrication (see Ann Coulters piece this week for a good take on that.) Even those who promote the idea know it's a lie. (Unfortunately that leaves about 40% of the populace.) On the other hand, I do not believe for a second that it is remotely coincidetal that "Earth Day" and Vladimir Lenin's birthday occur on the same day.
Heh. I just went and read Coulter's piece again. I especially like her last point:
"What's curious about the left's current obsession with Timothy McVeigh is that it proves that -- despite a frantic search for 15 years -- liberals have come across no better evidence of burgeoning "right-wing extremist" violence than a drug-taking, self-described "agnostic" who was thrown out of the Michigan Militia and who proclaimed, "Science is my religion."
That sounds more like Bill Maher than Rush Limbaugh."

President Bush also detracted from Patriots' Day when he ordered 11 September to be observed as "Patriot Day".
I always thought he did that deliberately, as an attempt at further erasing a vital part of our history and heritage.
Wow.
As if I needed ANOTHER reason to be pissed off.
These people aren't just evil - they're SICK!
