Blaming the inanimate object is not only illogical but also immoral. Indeed, it is intellectually dishonest to do so or intentional and willful ignorance is at work. Either way, our Framers most definitely contemplated an immoral people, a dishonest people.....plenty enough to understand that such a people would never be able to keep a constitutional republic.
Hilariously, those making the "powerful " argument about firearms are usually the FIRST to claim that the first amendment protects their internet speech.....and rarely do they admit their own disparity on the technology advancement front. Instead, they just lie.

She makes a valid point but she also conflated 'guns' with 'arms' - the 2 Amendment never mentions 'guns' - it says 'Arms' - which in the vernacular of the day meant those weapons in common use, for defense of the individual, the community and the State.
