Mike, A post I just made at ARF.com was #238 in the thread, and it was the first one to include a single link to the letters you've sent to Lawlor (I included all four links). It's amazing such an argument can rage on with so little context and/or knowledge of what preceded the letter to the State Police that they're (ostensibly) discussing.

I read through their 5 pages of posts and found some good supporters, the best this (Monday) morning, Blues Stringer, also linking your previous letters to Lawlor. Don't let the crybabies get you down. Pretty funny some were still clueless about the IIIpers and somehow connected us with the 1% Illuminati types. Someone was really confused and mentioned that you were fitting the role of a character in one of Matt Bracken's books of a guy with cancer and nothing to lose kicking off the chaos. I seem to recall that in Absolved, not in Matt's books. Still , we have to look to Jesus' example and forgive them all because they truly don't know what they've doing and because as He taught us in His prayer, our own sins are forgiven as we forgive those who sin against us.
There are shills on every board, some are not even paid. What amazes me is the amount of time wasted on them. Want to break a shill's balls?(If he has any to start with) Ignore them.
There are lots'a good folks over at arfcom, although it's true that in recent years, the site has indeed suffered from trolling, tyrannical-minded, gun-owning lib's & statist JBT's. Overall, however, you'll still find more patriots than $hit-birds - and much good info in the technical & survival forums. That thread was in the GD (general discussion) section, where the majority of the idiots hang out.
I can assure you that a whole lotta members agree with what you say/have said, here, yet they have also (perhaps prudently) chosen not to say so publicly on a site that is most assuredly watched as closely as arfcom.
I think that one good point was made over there, Mike, and that's (some of) the criticism regarding your writing style.
May I _respectfully_ submit that before hitting the "send" button, you walk away for a few minutes, then reread your letters (from as impartial a point of view as you can muster), editing out much of the rage/personal insults as possible? As much as I agree with what you say, that language often comes across as irrational, unstable ranting and I highly doubt many of your intended recipients will wade in and/or attempt to truly absorb/comprehend the good points you (repeatedly) make. That's a shame, too, because you DO make excellent points and they'd be well-advised to listen, learn and understand "our" perspective and grasp the depth of our resolve.
I humbly offer these thoughts with the highest regard for what you've sacrificed and endured, as the ferocious patriot you undoubtedly are and I thank you for those efforts with all my heart.
The first thing I tell new gun owners is to never register or read ARF.com. It's misinformation and airsoft junkies trolling for high post numbers. After all, I can be a 120# perfect looking blonde with big boobs on the internet. Most of the people who post there are disingenuous at best and lying sacks of excrement at worst. I can't count the number of times I've had to deprogram louts that belong to ARF and believe the lies they pass. It's the land or Geardo's and mall ninja's. For every decent poster, there are 3 more that haven't a clue about being a rifleman. If they were to sully my reputation, I would take it as a resounding positive indication of my righteousness.
Swift, here is the problem with ignoring them - look at Illinois. For a long time, Illinois corruption was ignored. Written off as a list cause, especially on the gun front, and what happened? The cancer spread to Washington, D.C. It's name is Obama.
For too long, too many have ignored the idiocy thinking that most people saw right through it all. Over time, fence sitters bent their way because when unchallenged, their talking points become convincing. Maybe you know this already and choose to disregard him BUT I know that David loses hits because his material gets posted there WHILE this humblegunner INSTANTLY tells people NOT to go to the source site. Your stuff is often posted in full there too, hampering your ability to know just how widely your material is being read.
It's one thing to have all that going on but it's another when Jim Robinson PROTECTS that little piece of shit named humble gunner as he actually directs people NOT to visit the source site - all while Jim Rob solicits donations from people to keep the lights on. That means he's making bucks and his little BIOTCH named humblegunner literally attacks David PERSONALLY.

As is demonstrated in that thread, humble gunners comments are often thread killers. That serves nobody well. I offer that some of your literary device use could go a long way to helping out both David and his reputation there at FR. It would be an especially nice thing to see humble gunners never ending attacks stifled by the actual people he so often attacks when they aren't there to defend themselves.
How about finding out if he has the courage of his convictions to call you guys out right to your faces? Or if he folds like the cheap, empty, smelly suit that he is.....
