Civil Disobedience in the Suburbs

What’s happening in Connecticut may be passive resistance (possibly even slothful resistance), but it strikes me as a good thing, and I hope that the state’s rifle owners will continue to decline to comply with this intrusive and unjust law.

That fella can smile at the roughly 70 square blocks of people in Detroit who have quite literally refused to pay their property tax. Like the goings on in Connecticut, and frankly with carry permits in Illinois and posiibly even jaywalking in NYC, people all over this country are giving the middle finger to the overreaching government buffoons.

I am left to wonder though about the idiots in Connecticut who DID literally line up to beg for permission to keep their property. How are they feeling right now having been so cowardly as to bow down and "register"? Kinda like their foolish brethren in Chicaho who fell all over themselves to " register " their guns in Chicago ( that list which is now moot and meaningless but absolutely remaining somewhere in someone's hands).....

People of all colors and all political stripes have something in common. They really are fed up with being told what to do and what not to do by people who claim the authority to do so AND squeeze every penny from them too. I guess cops really can push too far, maybe they should stop shooting everybody's dig.

We fast approach thus - that which is not mandated shall be prohibited.

Me thinks some politicians are gunna find themselves tarred and feathered pretty soon.
Now that would make ME smile.

I think the term is "Irish democracy".
