That old "Mandate of Heaven" thing.
"Why We Lied to Obama -- We told him he could be popular. What we meant to say was he could be popular ... if he told the truth."
My observation: This is a funny way to put it, but Fournier is correct that the Obamacare debacle may be the biggest self-inflicted torpedo yet to the credibility of the regime. This can cut two ways, however, and in areas that are far afield from the insurance industry. If Obama is finally seen as congenitally untrustworthy, his moves and reactions to everything will be suspect. If he stays within the lines of legality (or even what passes for legality these days, although the Founders wouldn't agree) then he becomes the lamest of ducks for the next three years. Or, in his desperation to be "relevant" and "beloved of the people" (in his own mind) somebody might start a Reichstag fire. So, while I am happy that these collectivist pukes have once again willfully damaged their own "Mandate of Heaven" I am also watchful and keeping my powder dry.
PS: So, FBI Director Comey, how's that inquiry into the present-day COINTELPRO operations against the Three Percent and the Oath Keepers coming? You wouldn't want an Oklahoma City bombing on your watch, would you?
