Hearst ‘Oswald’ hit piece on guns spreads falsehoods about federal law

Invoking Lee Harvey Oswald to produce a calculated emotional effect while showing total disregard for laws on the books, “reporter” Dan Freedman of the Hearst Washington Bureau made his case for so-called “universal background checks” Saturday in a “gun control” propaganda piece presented as straight news.

Innumerable gun laws have gone on the books since Oswald bought his rifle in 1963. Freedman probably dates from later than that era himself. He feels it necessary to spread blatant falsehoods about contemporary gun purchases. A perfect example of what happens with "authorized journalism". A writer with an agenda can blatantly lie, and expect not to be called on it by anyone. Bringing Oswald's ghost into the picture is a disservice to the dwindling number of Americans who still trust the mainstream media for factual reporting. Expanding federal laws into states that allow private purchase serves no legitimate purpose, except to add an unnecessary burden on law abiding gun owners.

What, easy tactics? Shocking. I suppose that random association means he's correct, right?

I remember saying that to General Patton ...

The left lies with impunity as all of the effete lamestream media will circle the wagons to sell crap as gold if it advances the progressive agenda.

Just like in Islam, the disciples of the left are permitted, nay, encouraged to lie and cheat in order to advance the agenda -- the glorious ends justify any and all means....
