Media derelict on more than four Obama scandals

Longtime readers of this column know there’s another major scandal, one still going on but just not talked about that much at present, that old media failed to break and, aside from rare exceptions, has been doing its best to either trivialize or discredit ever since: Operation Fast and Furious.

It is almost like we are the audience for a shadow puppet presentation...
I even have some doubt about the killing of Bin Laden. The whole affair was conveniently brushed aside. Still, for years we were told how Bin Laden needed kidney dialysis - but there was no mention of medical equipment at his home nor any indication he ever left the home for years prior to being killed.
Like in the fast and furious debacle, the administration spun a tale and the media shovels it.
I wonder if anything coming out of Washington DC can be believed.

Nope, if it comes out of the District of Criminals, it's a near certainty to be an outright lie, a lie of omission, white lie, or some other kind of lie.

Even a itty bitty lie leavens the lump, the way that a drop of poison otherwise taints a glass of 99% pure water.

John @ 1121 - you have provided the classic example. OBL was NOT on dialysis, there has never been any evidence to indicate that he ever underwent that treatment. He had been given a diagnosis as a potential victim of kidney disease and eventual failure in a physical exam, IOW he 'might' develop it but not necessarily. That diagnosis grew into the dialysis myth. And that is exactly how disinformation works.
