We are, as Americans, totally screwed by the recent revelations of FBI and NSA spying on us. Aside from the potential window dressing of reforms, nothing will change. So, why not give the AFT more power? It just might be the straw needed to bring on the one thing that can cleanse the system: civil war. Writing letters to congressman and senators no longer works as they are, despite denials, a major part of the problem. Protests, only give the neo-nazi's an opportunity to exercise their intelligence gathering, at best, or unrestrained brutality at worst. Am I against continuing to speak out? Absolutely not. But, you'd have to be scared shitless, blind, deaf and dumb, not to see where these government scum are headed. You may not be ready, you may loathe the idea of a national confrontation, but, they will bring it to you. Meaningful choices no longer exist.
